I was really excited to come here. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and we spent lots of time trying to find a restaurant. We drove an hour out, arrived and it took us 45 minutes to find parking. It's SF, so it's understandable. My issue was that I specifically asked for accommodations on my reservation and we were not accommodated. I had asked the host and she said they just didn't have space. Weird because I made reservations days prior...The restaurant was terribly lit. So dark inside and way too small and packed. We were seated between two other parties. It took them forever to bring us water and by that point I was so frustrated and overstimulated I was in tears. Im sure the food is great, the options looked nice there just wasn't much variety. We immediately got up and left, didn't even order. I hate to have to write such a bad review as I'm generally a very understanding person, but the experience drove me out of the restaurant before I could even order. I tried calling multiple days in advance on multiple different occasions to ask about my reservation, but I could not get ahold of them once. I hate to say it, but I'm extremely disappointed.

Love the food and staff at Horsefeather. It's a bargain for the food quality! Can be a little noisy. For example, hard to hear the server.

The food was good, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The service from our hostess was disappointing. She didn’t seem friendly or attentive. I asked her for cutlery but she never brought any.
We’ve sat outside at parklets before and understand outdoor seating isn’t always perfect, this place had gnats everywhere and the table hadn’t been cleaned properly from the previous guests.
While the food itself was good, the overall experience just wasn’t enjoyable. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend based on this visit.

Booked an indoor room and when we showed up they tried to put us outside. When I said I booked inside the host said they were bought out and OpenTable didn't reflect that. What's the point of OpenTable then?

Honestly I didn't like the chicken. The crust wouldn't stick to the chicken, it tasted overly oily but the duck fat fries were incredible.

Such a great place to gather with friends. Horsefeather is flexible, not requiring our whole party to be there before seating and ordering. Friendly service great ambience good food and great drinks .
Waiter was great, food was great. Our table was right by the door, so it was pretty cold for the person who's back with to the opening. We didn't want dessert, but had hoped to linger a little bit over a cup of coffee or tea and they had neither, which is the primary reason for not giving them a five.

Visited this place on a hot Monday afternoon Super cute local watering hole. Cute and friendly bartender. Ended my day here for a quick drink before my friend had to leave for the airport. It was a hot day and we both had a cider but would like to return as their drink menu looked amazing!
