I love those hidden gem/diamond in the rough restaurants, and this place is literally the definition of that! It's not a very big or well-decorated place, but it's very cute and cozy, especially with the wallpaper. I went with a friend on a freezing SF day, seeking lots of grilled meat and comfort food. Solid authentic skewers! Probably the most authentic skewers in San Francisco and maybe the Bay Area. Also, the prices here are pretty cheap! $2-$2.50 for a typical meat skewer. For the meat skewers, you have to order at least two per order. I came with my girlfriend one night after reading some good reviews of this place. I really enjoyed this place. There's a lot of variety and I think if you just stick to some tried and true ones, you'll really enjoy this place. My favorites were the lamb + beef + pork belly skewers. If you're thinking this is a spicy skewer place like it sometimes is in China, you'll be disappointed. The cucumber salad was also really good. It was so spicy from garlic (usually it's chili oil but I don't think there was any there). The salt also helped make it a bit spicy too....read full review
