Little cafe with hairy sandwiches. This cafe, located inside the HSS Building at San Francisco State University, is almost never busy and delivers tasty sandwiches for prices comparable to other campus cafes. However, while eating a sandwich, I discovered a hair. It measured about six inches and was dyed red. For a second, I thought it could've been mine, but I have shorter hair that isn't red. I soon found more strands of hair while eating. The sandwich itself was pretty good. I ordered a Milano club, which had tomatoes, onion, pesto, bacon, turkey, and swiss on ciabatta. It was sliced perfectly in the center and was phenomenal, except for the hair. The sandwich would be enough for two kids or people who aren't really hungry. I think $9.50 is a bit steep though. In total, I found five strands of hair while eating the sandwich. I also had a medium mocha. It was sweet and tasted like a mix of coffee and chocolate, as expected. There are lids, napkins, and sweeteners in the adjacent room. There are also two vending machines, but they aren't well-stocked.There is no seating, but you can find benches outside the building or somewhere else inside the building. The service was pretty good and it wasn't busy at all, even during lunchtime. If my sandwich didn't have hairs, I would give this place four stars.
Vegetarian options: All drinks, some salads, and some sandwiches are vegetarian
Kid-friendliness: A child would probably dislike this place. It's not really child-oriented.
Parking: Parking lots nearby
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible
Dietary restrictions: Order can be customized
Sociology!!
Hallways get jam packed in between classes. Be careful of the rude students who want to come in to your class before you even leave!
The levels are so different depending where you enter from, you enter on the first floor but end up on the second...
Top of campus, nice if your classes start here and move downward
Apparently, this is the building where shoving people is acceptable. Oh, it isn't? Stop doing it then!
Right next to the cafe
Admire the weird wood hutch in the back near the stairs
Take advantage of the free tutoring at CARP and the LAC on the third floor.
If you're hungry or just want a small snack, stop by the HSS cafe confieniently located at HSS 121. They also have vending machines too.

It smells like toast.
Wifi in here sucks !
It always smells like burnt toast! :(
You'd better check what's going on HSS 362 International Relations Briefing Theater. You may find very interesting lectures or events.
