Love this place / been coming here a long time but went twice this week to get my fix during business hours and it was closed both times ?

Went here a few days ago it was super quiet. The customer service was sucky. A bland rbf cashier was meh at best. I ask if they do half gallons she didn't really answer I had to follow you with a second question asking did they just offer the pints then she answered. Upon paying she pushed the ipad with aggression and irritation she had glasses with a little bit of blonde in her brown/blackish hair. thumbs down on my experience!

At The Ferry Building in SF. Quality of ice cream was ok. Super sweet. Almost unbearably sweet. Service was ok. No napkins. They had run out of them.

Varieties of ice cream flavors!! Their ice cream flavors are interesting and delicious at the same time. We have tried atleast 6-7 flavors and liked every single one of them! Only thing is the location and service are tricky since this place can get busy. But definitely worth the visit!!

Great shop, great ice cream. I hope it stays. Why 3 stars? It’s frequently closed in the evenings when I try to go. Sometimes there’s a “we’ll be right back!” sign up with a time specified, but that time has already passed and there’s still no one there. Or one night for example I showed up at 7:20 and it said they’d be back at 8pm. That’s fine, then just say your hours are opening-7pm, 8-10pm. I find myself coming here less and less because it’s a little slap in the face to go out of your way to patronize a business, only for them to be closed during their stated hours.

Creamy ice-cream with plenty of unique flavours you wouldn’t normally see at other places. Small store with a handful of seats and washroom available. Some merchandise also available for sale. Limited parking nearby though, so you might need to park then walk a few minutes to pick-up.

Reopening of the Mission location with free cookies with our purchase! I got to use my gift card from winning the Humphry Slocombe x Lion King contest and treated us out! I wanted to like the Serengeti sunset since it was part of the collab but it wasn't my cup of tea. We got a pint of the berry lemon cookie for $11 instead and the following in store: single scoop of Vietnamese coffee with whipped cream $6.75 single scoop of Mango sticky rice with cornflakes $6.75 It seemed like there were 3 employees working with 1 working the counter. There were 2 customers in front of us so we had to wait a few minutes to try out the different flavors. There's 6 stools inside and a bench outside for seating. It was a quiet and chill reopening so hopefully it got busier the rest of the day since we were in the area 2 hours before they opened. An area manager or district manager popped in and he was much more vocal and friendlier during our time inside so you could tell he was more into the reopening vs. the staff. I suggest maybe some balloons outside with the easel to have some sort of celebration vibes!

Interesting flavors & friendly workers! They do have limited seating inside (around 5) but also have two benches outside. They have a small variety of flavors and I tried their Pumpkin Galette and Honey Graham. Both were alright and had a lot of texture to them like a grainy feeling. Overall, nothing special for me and I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Friendly service, fun & experimental discoveries, small atmosphere, worth the trip. I saw the food network expose the prosciuto flavor that i have yet to try

A good place to stop by for ice cream in the Mission and sample some of Humphry Slocombe's creative flavors. (Think twists on classic ice cream flavors like Vietnamese Coffee and Malted Milk Chocolate but also ones straight out of left field like Mango Sticky Rice and Pumpkin Galette). The gentleman working behind the counter this evening was super helpful, providing detailed commentary on the flavors we asked to sample, talking about honest likes and dislikes with whys and why nots. Kudos there. The ice cream here is bit pricey. This includes the to-go pints in the fridge, but for those, at least there is a buy-two-get-one-free deal that brings the price down to what you can get them for at local grocery stores. Just one comment though - the waffle cone was a bit of a letdown, being a bit thin and hard. (It was late at night and might have been stale). It also did allow ice cream to eventually drip out of the bottom. Overall, fantastic ice cream, but the cone perhaps could be worked on a bit more.

Best ice cream in San Francisco. Take home a pint of the Tahitian Vanilla and add fresh fruit for a heavenly experience.

Once, they were flagrantly rude to me at this shop. I like their ice cream and have had good experiences in the past, but the one bad one really stuck with me.

I love this place, however they do decide to open and close whenever. There has been so many times I come by and there is a sign or it’s just not open. So disappointing. But when it’s open, it’s sooo good!

SO DELICIOUS, SECRET BREAKFAST, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE. And Vietnamese Coffee, you're not too bad yourself. The staff here is friendly, helpful, patient, and GORGEOUS LOOKING PEOPLE. If you don't come here for the ice cream at least come for some eye candy yayuh.Seating is limited, but they do have outdoor tables (: Also equipped with a restroom and water jugs, in case you want to rinse the sweetness from your mouth, BUT WHO WOULD WANT TO DO THAT!?Also, good luck finding street parking!
