My favorite flavor is peanut butter fudge ripple which has my favorite flavors - peanut butter and vanilla with just a touch of chocolate. Humphrey Slocombe has tons of other flavors - I've tasted those other flavors - but I haven't found one that I like more than peanut butter fudge ripple. The line can get long and depending on what people order, it can take a bit of time. The ice cream is on the pricier side for those who are watching their budgets....but the servings are small for those who are watching their waistlines.

I like ice cream and This was very good. It was rated top 5 in the country by food channel. I’m not sure I’d rate it that high. There is a place in Syracuse called Abbots that I think is better. Don’t get me wrong. It was very good and worth the stop. It was very creamy and the staff is super helpful. You have 8 choices a day to choose from. I picked Dark chocolate smoked sea salt. It was a little too salty for me. Staff was very good. You can eat and look over the bay. Great date spot

We wanted some dessert after dinner and this hit the spot! It was hard to choose something everything sounded so good! My only complaint is that the person helping us behind the counter kept playing with their hair. Please just wear it back.

After many years of passing by this shop, I finally decided to stop by during my visit to the Ferry Building. BE WARNED: long lines form after lunch time! ...and yes, they give free samples :)They have a rotating menu and feature 6 flavors each day. I tried a cup of the Cornflake Crunch this visit! Lots of texture and the ice cream actually doesn't have a ton of crunch. This tasted a lot like cornbread actually! Not too sweet. Pretty tasty and made with real ingredients.

Perhaps I selected the wrong flavor. It was Dark Chocolate salt something. All I could taste was salt and it did not taste or even look like a dark chocolate but perhaps that was due to the overwhelming taste of salt. I tried one sample, another flavor, and that seemed ok, but, honestly nothing to write home about. Experience was at S.F. Ferry Building on 3/20/24. Service was good and pleasant.

Good ice cream with a rotating menu with Vegan, gf all marked. Staff needs to be better trained. I love their seasonal selections.

To make your ice cream even better, please put the light flavors like vanilla on the top, not the bottom. Thank you!

Went for Dessert Food - 5/5. The secret breakfast ice cream had a deep bourbon flavor that had just the right amount of sweetness. Graham cracker crumbs were very small yet each added a nice crunch to every bite. The marshmallow fluff was toasted nicely and the fudge had a rich, decadent flavor. A very sweet combination. Service - 4/5. The line moves fast and the service was friendly. Value - 4/5. The sundaes are $10 each which is on the expensive side as they only come with a single scoop of ice cream. They are delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to get another one but the double digit price point gives you a slight feeling of guilt. Parking - Street (Metered)
