Old style Italian seafood restaurant. There is a good variety of dishes. I tried two of the seafood dishes, a salmon dish and the chioppino and they were pretty good. The dishes are reasonably priced.

Came right at opening at 5 PM and sat outside for happy hour. Food was tasty and the vibe was cool with the cable cars running right beside. Great place for a happy hour.

I love this place. My husband and I just discovered it a few weeks ago and I came back with a friend last night. The food is wonderful and the menu is has lots of great dishes. The owners are so nice and right there for you all the time. We will go back again. Very soon.

The food was tasteless, and the sourdough was old. But I overheard the person at the next table saying it was the best sourdough she had ever had in her life… I guess food is too subjective. But I wouldn't go back at all.

The food was delicious. The place was so nice and clean with a lot of cute details. The couple who served us were very friendly and hospitable! I am visiting but when I'm back in the city I'll stop in!

Not crowded. Most likely because it's "off the beaten path" embedded in a cute Nob Hill 'hood that doesn't have much parking Service is friendly and outstanding. The en papillote fish is simply the best I've ever had outside the home. Easy to get to and an adventure from Market and the square because it right on the Powell-Hyde cable car line. Advice: Get away from all the marquis happy steak places in the glittery market/downtown and try this place

Quaint and off the beaten path yet easy to get to if you like the cable cars... Food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The unique twist of "en papillote" fish is the best I've had away from home. The service is A+. And they are so sweet and friendly Not crowded Beer and wine only. The Hyde Street corridor has many small family run eatery's. Check it out ...

Discovery of charming, old-school restaurant with excellent, friendly service. The music playing in the background was perfectly suited to the venue and evoked a bygone era of classy, but affordable, dining in San Francisco. This is a gem of a place that as a native San Franciscan, I should have known about sooner.

The place was a little off, the service was a little poor for my taste, the food was very tasty.

Unfortunately the clamChowder potatoes not fresh. The raviolis were hard and tasted “tinny “ like they’d been refrigerated too longCouldn’t even eat them

Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Overall: Standard fare. Not a bad place if you don't want to grab a bite. Would I come back: I would if someone wanted to go there. The extended review... Food: Caesar Salad - 3/5 - Standard fare. The two person was a decent portion. King Salmon en Papillotte - 3/5 - Pretty standard fare. I'd probably say I could easily make this at home. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: 3/5 - We dined outside which was nice. The interior seemed a little dark.

Ordered delivery from here... the container that the clam chowder came in wasn't fully closed and spilled in the bag and on my box of seafood pasta. They didn't send utensils, so I had to eat it with a straw. The pasta didn't have a lot of flavor, and by time the soup got to me, it was fairly cold.
