What a fantastic brunch place, and perfect spot for lunch! Makes the most delicious sandwiches and Iggy’s french toast is scrumptious. Everything is freshly made and yummy. Love the cool retro playlist. Shout out to Igor and Anna who make you feel so welcome!

Delicious food and service were great for a reasonable price! Just a big fly and a gnat on our side of the table inside buzzing around that made it less inviting.

I like getting vegetarian sandwiches because it lets you clearly taste the quality of the veggies/bread without the more powerful meat flavors. The veggie sandwich here was a bit disappointing unfortunately. Their menu (when I ordered online) says the bread is a "Rize Up Panini", but what I actually ended up getting was more like a sesame hoagie roll. It was alright, but I wasn't a fan of the sesame taste for this sandwich. Ciabatta or even a regular sourdough would have been better IMO. The veggies did indeed taste fresh, but the sauces really let it down. The sriracha/garlic aioli was extremely bland and just tasted like plain mayonnaise. Not having meat means you need to add additional salt and spices to the sandwich to compensate, which were missing here.

Overall, it was a decent sandwich, but I wouldn't pay $16+tax again. Perhaps their meat sandwiches or breakfast dishes are better considering everyone else seems to love this place.

Ordered Borsht. Famous Ukrainian Borsht, with fried vegetables, dill, potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage and beets... Only without anything but undercooked beets and with ton of sugar. Totally unedible. Tasted like beets were from a can, with water and sugar added. Served with two tiny pieces of bread that has no connection to anything Ukrainian.
Cinderella Bakery on 6th and Balboa serves much better version of the same.
