I would say it is over hyped and over priced for what you get. People and service are great, but you don't have a lot of space. Patties are dry, fries felt like cardboard and the cheese was terrible. Even the animal style, I may had a high expectation.

What an incredible find! From the warm and inviting ambiance to the exceptional service, every detail was perfect. The food was absolutely phenomenal – beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The truffle pasta was to die for! We can't wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend!

SEE UPDATE ON THE BOTTOM***** In and out is always good. This particular place doesn't have enough people at the registers, hence always a ridiculous line. 50% of the touristy customers that stop here got victimized on the side streets, bipers breaking into the cars here like crazy. So do not drive there. This particular in and out location needs police patrols on foot, and cruiser outside covering side streets, if, I say if this city plans to have any tourists in the future. Instead of guarding woke businesses on Union Square, better come here where the real drama is.
Update****. Literally I've started driving to Daly City to go to in and out. This place in wharf is losing its marbles. 3 x in the row, we were stiffed for the food, missing items or wrong orders in the bag/box. Put your act together!!!! Nothing worse than paying for something, getting home ready to eat, opening it and realizing you never packed it. Horrible. Downgrading my previous review.
