Subject: Urgent Health Concern: Rodent Sightings in the International Market(O

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a serious health concern I encountered during my recent visit to the International Market just 15 minutes ago.

As I navigated through the market, I was alarmed to observe multiple full-sized mice and rats scurrying between various restaurant stalls. This sight was not only disturbing but raised significant concerns about hygiene and food safety in an area that is frequented by families and individuals seeking diverse culinary experiences.

The presence of rodents in a food market raises numerous health risks. Rodents are known carriers of various diseases, including salmonella, hantavirus, and leptospirosis, which can severely impact public health. The fact that these animals were moving freely between food establishments suggests a lack of proper sanitation and pest control measures, which is unacceptable.

In addition to the health implications, this issue could severely damage the reputation of the market and the businesses operating within it. Customers expect a clean and safe environment when dining, and the sight of rodents could deter them from returning. This not only affects customer trust but could also lead to financial losses for the vendors.

I strongly urge you to take immediate action to address this concerning issue. A thorough inspection of the market is essential, along with the implementation of effective pest control measures to eliminate the rodent problem. Additionally, I recommend increasing public awareness about food safety practices among vendors to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I believe that swift action can help restore safety and confidence in the International Market. I look forward to your prompt response regarding the steps that will be taken to address this situation and ensure the well-being of all patrons.

It's underground, lot's of sitting area. The food is low quality, there are so many better places to eat in the nearby Chinatown. I tried Japanese. One of the worst Takoyakis I ate. Too much dough unlike in Japanttown. Curry as well, was to doughy.

It's a basement food court, so you're not here for the ambiance or a 5-star meal. I went to Katsuya after work and got the shrimp sammie, cheese balls, and the cheese corn dog. While the sauces for the sides were too sweet for me, the sandwich was great. The bonus is the location because it's close to BART, and you can hit the tiki bar across the street for dessert. ?

Interesting food court in near financial district. This place has been opened for a long time, but I just recently found this place from some posts on instagram. There are 2 entrances to this place and both via steep stairs. It is underground. This place has tables for eat-in. Seems like it used to be a popular place before. Now, it only has 3 food vendors. They serve Japanese, Korean, and Thai foods. Except for Thai food, all are served in to go boxes. We had Japanese katsu , pork curry, and Korea tteokbokki, and we ordered Thai iced tea. All are yummy. I think the portion is generous, and the price is reasonable. Next time, we will try the Thai dishes

Interesting underground food court with a variety of cuisines. The pad thai wasn’t so good, but the other dishes were great! Good lunch option :)

I was really surprised by this place. I went down because I saw they had quesabirria which I'm currently obsessed with but to my surprise they had way more than just Mexican food. There was Japanese, Korean, and Thai food there too amongst others. Will definitely be back to check out other yummy international treats I can find.

I’ve been to all 4 stalls and they’re all great. Sad to see a few disappear but hopefully there’s room for more in the future. This is a great place if you’re looking for fast, casual, and authentic. Great spot to go during your lunch hour. Highly recommend!

Some of the food options here are delicious but it feels like a dingy cafeteria. It is worth visiting for Katsuya.
