Greeted by a less than enthusiastic hostess.
The food was also really a let down. We had come here 6 years ago before COVID and loved the place. One of the things we had loved was the rib tip on the Mac and cheese which had disappeared from the menu.
The plain Mac and cheese was still a far cry from the one before .
The cornbread had a strange spice flavor.
The Peking pork belly bao came in a cloche filled with smoke . Yes it’s smokey and pretty to look at . That’s it. A sad piece of thin pork belly that’s quite underwhelming
The ribs were ok . Nothing to rave about
Probably the best part was the basque cheesecake.

Raj and the entire staff was fantasstic. Food was exceptional. We always enjoy the great variety on the menu. Chefs are doing a great job :) Wine list also is very well curated. Location is superb and convenient to BART and downtown - Kevin & Naomi K. Walnut Creek CA

We absolutely Loved our time at International Smoke for our 39th Wedding Anniversary. Everything was top notch.We were given the best VIP reception ever imagined. The hostess Valerie to The General Manager Vanessa took the best care and not to mention the service from the staff. Jay our waiter covered everything and them some. We’ve already told friends and posted to our social media accounts with the spectacular hospitality and service. We have found a new restaurant now!!

My wife and I ate at International Smoke last night and our primary waiter was Andrew . He was very polite and helpful and was the best waiter we have had in the many visits we have taken to International Smoke. We love whenever we have gone and having a helpful and polite server made our enjoyment even greater. We certainly will continue to attend and hope you will continue to have Andrew as a staff helper because he is very helpful and a pleasure to know about International Smoke. Great food with good service. Can get noisy, but it’s more fun with a crowd sharing food. Want to see this place survive as it’s been so quiet since the pandemic.

The food is not seasoned at all. The salmon has 0 seasoning. Never in my life would I eat this place.Pork belly was good. The ribs were dry with not enough sauce.

Best service I can remember in YEARS! Everyone professional, friendly, on top of things, efficient and the experience was excellent.
