2nd time here - first time sat for 30 minutes with no service, today served quickly however a korean restaurant with no kimchi at all?? - a staple in most Korean dishes - why not run to the grocery store to make the dishes complete?

The owners yelled at me and my Family for asking nicely to use the restroom. Never go here, they dont deserve the money. Horrible people!!! I will be reporting to the city
Food is amazing. High prices are justified by the quality and portion sizes. Service is great, and the atmosphere is peaceful yet casual. Would come back here again.

SUper solid, clean, friendly, great Soba. Went in randomly as many places were slammed. It's very new and clean and the staff is friendly. We shared some gyoza which were large and very tasty.
Two of us got Soba soup which had some of the best stock I've ever had in a restaurant. Full of noodles, veggies, and meat, I could eat about half and brought the rest home.
My friend got a rice bowl that looked great.
Would 100% return and try something else

✨ A Must-Visit in Japantown! ✨
Iredori is an absolute gem tucked away in Japantown! The atmosphere is warm and charming, and the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel genuinely welcome.
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind—you can tell they love what they do, and it really sets the tone for the whole dining experience.
The food? So good. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bento box was a standout—tender bulgogi, crispy sides, and delicious japchae with fresh salad. Plus, the little side dishes they bring out beforehand are such a fun (and tasty) touch.
This place is perfect with top-tier service, amazing flavors, and a cozy Japantown vibe.

Please avoid at all cost if you are a woman.
Pros: Easy to find, good location. The food tastes OK but is not very fresh.
Cons: During their business hour on Google Maps that they wrote themselves (see the screenshot), the owner, a middle aged Korean male, will claim they are closed and will PHYSICALLY push you out of the restaurant, even when there are other customers sitting (but obviously haven’t paid) Before you pay, you can wait for a ride, but after you pay, you are treated with no respect. He didn’t ask normally, he started off by yelling loudly and pushing me out. I am a polite, small Asian girl who never ever got this treatment in life. I can see the research studies are true about how some toxic, old-schooled Korean men can behave. Side note: the waitress who worked there was very nice. She understood how ridiculous it was and did her best to comfort me. I tipped by 18% and did not take it back even after the whole thing.

Restaurantji Recommends
I always pass by this restaurant and never went in. Finally tried it this weekend. Turns out they recently changed management. Anyways.
I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap and it was so good! The dish was super colorful and super tasty as well. I enjoyed it a lot. The beef was tender and soft which made for a good dining experience.
The service was very nice as well. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I had a nice experience eating here. Will come back again. I’m hoping to try the Samgyetang next time and hope it’s as good as the bibimbap!
I recommend this place if you’re looking for some good korean food.

The food was just ok, we ordered two $29 Bibimbap, the side dishes were not good, bland . For a $29 Vegetarian bibimbap I was expecting amazing quality and amazing side dishes. Service was nice. Not planning on going back to expensive for the quality of the food.

It’s okay—I won’t be returning. The bibimbap lacks spices, and charging 40+ for LA galbi (short ribs) is diabolical. I suggest they reevaluate their menu pricing. It’s 95% a Korean restaurant, so I don’t understand why they market themselves as Japanese at all. The interior walls feature huge photographs of Japanese streets, which feels completely out of place.
There are so many restaurants in J-Town selling similar dishes—like Kippu and Sanppo—and honestly, the lack of creativity in the culinary scene there is quite disappointing.
