Izzy's Steaks & Chops

The bar was super lively for the Warriors game - nice to see folks and join the afternoon like that! Dinner was absolutely exquisite - my prime rib as were the sides that came with it. Fabulous cocktails!

Our server, Ginger, was wonderful! She explained things about the new menu and was attentive. Great personality too! We were bummed that your menu had changed. The remodel was stunning!

Wonderful classic restaurant - excellent meals decent wine list, inventive cocktails generous desserts. I had filet mignon a poivre - it was delicious.

We finally went for dinner at the renovated Izzy's this weekend. We ate there about once per year for many years before the revamp.

Everything was better than before. We were very impressed with steaks, sides, and drinks—all delicious and more flavorful than the good old days. The service was timely, engaged and thoughtful (simply acknowledging a birthday in a very nice way) without being too much. And the new space is brighter and more modern while still feeling like a local's steakhouse. We will be back...more than once per year!

Food was excellent! We all had steaks and really enjoyed them. Broccolini was some of the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was spectacular too.
Dan was very knowledgeable about wines and provided a great experience. Our server Alfredo was great too.

Very disappointed. Drove a long way to dine at this restaurant. Just wasn't special.

we were lucky enough to get one of their little booths, situated on the side of the dining room like its own cubby with walls, allowing us to enjoy our conversation a beautiful food in secret privacy while the place bustled. Great service, great food.

Food was good, service was good, just didn’t like the idea of seating too close to the other tables and the acoustics made it feel like the conversations were really loud and noisy. Overall I enjoyed the steak, the way it was made and marinated. The sides were also well made and tasty. The taste of salmon with a little tangy salsa was so balanced as well. 💕

Our first time, and the entire visit was so memorable! Dan, the sommelier, was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and most attentive to us. Michael, our server, seemed as happy to be there as we were. And the food was truly incredible! Would definitely go back again for another special occasion.

Steak had a gas-like flavor - I assume it was from a gas fired grill. Steaks were such a highlight of the pre-renovation Izzy's. I used to rave to people about them. I guess no more.
Ordered a glass of wine and I thought the pour was for an initial taste. My dinner companion and I were stunned when the waiter didn't return to complete the pour. I would estimate the wine level in the glass was about a pinky finger.

We had the Alaskan halibut very delicious . Also a juicy steak with Spinach cream. also, very delicious. Great service with a lot of attention to detail very important. We had a great time. I will go back.

Excellent service and amazing new interior post-renovation

Another great meal at Izzy's with great friends. The prime rib was superb, and the service was top notch.

I truly miss the old Izzy’s. I had a terrible experience, the steak itself was the same quality as STK or Fogo de Chao (chain and shit), the Izzy’s own potatoes (which used to be my all time favorite for 20 years) were dried potatoes layered with burnt cheese, the Cesar was foul (dirt and expired fish in a bowl); please bring back the old Izzy’s!!

My first visit and there will be more. Wedge lettuce and pork chop well executed and tasted great. I like the classic romantic charm.
