There's not 1 steak place in Philadelphia that use those
crappy ."Italian wanna be" Amaroso rolls.
Just because they're made in Philly doesn't mean they're good.
Amaroso stopped making Italian rolls 40 years ago.
..Now they're just elaborate hot dog buns.
They have no outter crispness, no inner substance and will become mush in no time. That's because they have no ability to absorb.
Do yourself a favor.. If you really want to make a Philly Cheesesteak.
