Greatest bakery on Earth! There is usually a line of people waiting during rush hour mornings for good reason. From the bread they make, to the amazing pastry, quiche and fresh sandwiches, and great staff, this place is rocks! My only gripe is there is no indoor seating. There is seating outside but during the winter months its usually wet n cold.
The bakery served us old flat breads, old chicken pot pie, and scone and croissant with no flavor. We ordered in their shop at 4:05 and they close at 5:00. When we were given the bread we asked it they can warm it up and she said the ovens are closed. Not only was old food served it was completely tasteless. Not sure how they got these stars in SF given there are 10X bakeries that are better in flavor, quality and service!

Literally a bread sandwich. Where’s the arugula, prosciutto and burrata? Can’t believe they have the audacity to charge $15+ for this sandwich. Had to remove the top piece of bread just to have a palatable ratio.

I love their baked goods here. A lot of other highly rated bakeries have mid baked goods. All of theirs are very delicious here. I always buy way too much and enjoy every bite. Their prices are decent too. I highly recommend this bakery. The staff are always friendly as well. The parking is hell however, so prepare yourself for a headache finding a parking spot nearby

I used to go to Jane for coffee on Fillmore since 2015. So glad to know they have this spot! We make a trip here once a month for their croissants 🤤 and sprinkle cookie for my kid. THEEEE BEST 🥐
Small lot but usually a spot opened up if you can wait 2mins. Street parking when you’re lucky. If you don’t mind walking, park in Jtown and walk to bakery.
This bakery did not hold back for an amazing vibe, great service, and fresh food!! Usually am in the area and stopped in before work. It was only a 5 minute wait through the small line and worth it!! A MUST stop place for fresh pastries and something different. Best to go at opening!

Jane is the best bakery I know of in the Bay Area. And it has quite some competition! I go there not only for bread, but for an ever-changing variety of creative and tasty baked goods. Highly recommend, especially if you've not been before.

Super awesome bread, some of the best french breads with excellent flavors you can find in the City. If you are able to get the 3 cheese rosemary, get it, plus a crazy cookie plus anything else in the selection. Always a great addition to any day.
