I was honestly nervous to come here by myself as a total beginner, but I’m so glad I did. The line dance instructor is amazing! She’s experienced, super patient, fun, and made it easy to follow along even for newbies like me. The vibe at Jaxson is welcoming, the crowd is friendly, and I left feeling more confident (and sweaty). Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good time and want to try something new!

Womens bathroom was absolutely disgusting and my partner said the male bathroom was the same. Toilets lined inside and outside with vomit and other gross things, the floors soaked with pee and leaking rusty sinks it was disgusting.
Came for line dancing lessons and the instructor was so rude it was uncomfortable to address her or dance. Had several other people who were new agree with me about her miserable behavior as well which was validating but disappointing. Westwood is a much better option for line dancing and it’s very close as well.

The staff is not safe! I tried to walk right back into the bar after forgetting my jacket and bouncer physically shoved me into a wall instead of telling me I couldn’t enter that door. He was unapologetic about it and I have a gnarly bruise.
It was a terrible experience.
I was here for the first time with friends. We paid the cover and were in the bar area for about 10 minutes. Then some guy who works there came and grabbed me by my shirt and pushed me all the way outside where he threw me down into the street. I am confused as to why this happened. We were not causing any problems and I had no interactions with anyone working there prior. He also proceeded to follow me around the street while I walked away from the club which was extremely messed up.
My arms are scraped, my phone cracked, my clothes ripped, and I have multiple bruises.
No concern for cars on the road or how I landed when thrown to the ground. It was disgusting.
He then proceeded to throw my friend down as well.
I will be escalating this.
Saturday night. Fun 90s then 2000s music mix for dancing! The men crowd was disgusting. Continuously bugging the group of girls dancing. 🤮🤮🤮
Self service at the bar. Bathroom lines get super long. There was TWO toilet and one of them wasn’t flushing LMFAO.
I wouldn’t not come back.
No food
the bouncer between 1:30-2 am on friday/saturday is horrible. i paid the $10 fee and bought a drink then went outside through the back to help my friend who was unwell and when back in to get a cup of water for her and i was grabbed and pushed by the bouncer and thrown out and told to go out again through the front entrance. horrible bouncer — i told him i needed water for my friend and he didn’t care at all. showed him my stamps from paying the cover and he was extremely rude and did not care at all. horrible club would not recommend. do not go here.

Giving two stars for the girl that said she didn’t know ID wells so went to get the bouncer , the bouncer then said no to two real IDs and when I asked why he was accusing this he said because the photos were distorted , I watched this man check my ID, he didn’t look at it at all. I asked to speak with a manager and was just showed the way out . I was a tourist very excited to try this spot and it really upset me that I wasn’t able to go or even have a chance to talk to someone who could scan it or actually look at it . For reference it was me and my husband , two Montana IDs because we are from OUT OF TOWN . I get that in a college area you may get a lot of fakes but there is better ways to handle it

They added a tip to my drink which I did not authorize. Even though it was only $3 I feel as though that is a really untrustworthy thing for a person to do (and takes advantage of people who are already, most likely, intoxicated).
Context: I ordered at the bar and my total came out to $18. I tapped my card and went to put my phone in my purse. When I looked up, the bartender had already flipped the iPad screen back to himself-- to which I did not think anything of at the moment.
Later on, I made a joke to my friend that $18 was pricey for one drink and she mentioned her exact same drink was $15 but that she pressed "no tip" on the iPad so maybe that's why. I was confused because I didn't see a tip option and I would remember this because I ALWAYS tip bartenders (I also work in the service industry.) I then realized that he had to have tapped the tip option after he flipped the screen back to himself as I was putting my card away.
I am contemplating disputing this charge with my bank. It was only a few dollars, but to me, it is more about the principle of taking advantage of people-- especially those who are perceived to be under the influence.
I love this place !!! Such very good moments with my friends
Do not go here! Thought this would be a good place to get a drink as I’m visiting from out of town, but it ended up being the complete opposite. Ordered a Jäger bomb and the bartender gave us a poorly mixed redbull & Jäger half full in a plastic cup and then proceeded to over charge my friend and I. The bartender told me it was $14 then we checked our bank accounts and he overcharged me and my friend by $10 each. Terrible bar…don’t go here! (This was the only drink we got here and left immediately)

Completely ridiculous, they overcharged me for no reason. I bought a yagger bomb and they said it was $14, which is already a lot. But, they charged me and my buddy $25 each!!! Such bs.
