My partner and I stopped by on a Saturday. It was super busy in the mall, as expected, but the line went by surprisingly fast. We ordered cream puffs as well as a couple of drinks. The cream puffs were absolutely delicious - the matcha is our favorite. The drinks were good too - better than a chain coffee shop but not the best matcha latte in comparison to other matcha lattes.

The matcha cream puffs are THE Best pastry I've ever had. The are so creamy and crunchy and so so so delicious and it's not that sweet which I truly appreciate.

We got all 3 flavors and here's our ranking:
1.Matcha
2. Hujucha
3. Sesame

We arrived at around 12pm on Saturday and had to wait for 10 minutes for the cream puffs.
It usually there is a line but it goes fast.

While the quality of the coffee is quite high, the service completely ruined the experience. There is one server—a very haughty individual with noticeable tattoos and piercings (may be Japanese)—whose attitude was appalling.

The café was completely empty, and I was patiently waiting for my order right by the entrance. Despite this, she loudly shouted at me to leave and wait outside! This blatant lack of respect for a customer is unbelievable. If service like this is tolerated, why bother being open? Between the mediocre atmosphere and this stunningly rude staff, this will be my first and last visit.

I love this place!! The Pastry and Honeycomb Latte—omg, such a perfect combo. Linea Coffee is always my favorite, and I like that they’re using the same coffee bean. The Hojicha Puff is another favorite of mine. Just typing this out makes me want to order again soon haha.

This place is dangerous! The baked goods are delicious, and you'll want to eat everything before you get home.

Located on the bottom floor in the Japantown mall, there's usually a line to get in and the pastries sell out quickly.

We tried the popular black sesame creme puffs, croissant, and Kalbijjim Croissant. Savory or sweet - you won't be disappointed.

Order inside and wait outside. We had ciffee and the ibanoffee and the pear danish, both were delicious.
Would strongly recommend drinking coffee at this establishment.

Injeolmi croissant: 10/10. Mochi layer with crispy croissant is amazing and special.
Galbijjim croissant: 7/10. Unfortunately don’t feel this works well if not hot. Caveat - we came at 3:30pm close to closing so may be better earlier.
Garlic scone: 8/10. Really nice dense garlicky scone.

This review is for one of the employees at Jina Bakes.
She appears to be of Asian descent, possibly a mix of Chinese and Japanese. I’m not sure if she’s part of the owner’s family or a long-time employee, but her behavior stands out in a negative way. Instead of politely handing customers their baked goods, she tosses them onto the table.

While waiting for my coffee on a Sunday, I observed several of her interactions with other customers, and the attitude was consistently rude. This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed this behavior, either. She could really benefit from some customer service coaching—or perhaps this role just isn’t the right fit.

I've been to this bakery so many times and their food has always been great. But the cashier today was ridiculously rude. Zero patience, can't understand a simple order, and just throws boxes of pastries on the countertop. I hope the business can give her a break, she looks like she's burned out from life.

Very good and special crossiants with Asian flavors! We tried Kalbijjim crossiant, Injoelmi crossiant at bottom, and hojicha puff, spending ~$20 in total.

Injoelmi crossiant is perfect for people who like (just a little) sweet bakeries and mochi. Not too sweet and tastes amazing. The soy bean flour on top also adds the flavor. The mochi and soy bean flour can be hard to digest, so just need to be cautious about the amount for people who have a weak stomach.

Kalbijjim crossiant is savory and great for people loving salty crossiants.

The hojicha puff is not too sweet, but the crust is not so soft and tastes a bit dry.

The store is in a food court/market And doesn't have seatings. But there are seatings in the court inside.

Known for their injeolmi croissant, wasn't sure that almost mochi like texture would work against the flakey pastry but it does.

I saw a line so I got in line too lol. I love a good pastry shop but this place is over-rated. I ordered a matcha cookie and the yuja iced tea. It's essentially a yuzu tea. I watched the lady make it and it's how I'd make it at home after learning how to make it from a recent Japan trip. The drink was too watered down- she should have put 2 scoops of the yuja jam instead of one. I tossed the drink half way through. The matcha cookie is too sweet for an Asian pastry shop but perfect for an American palate. I walked by 2 hrs later on my way out of the shopping center and the shop is empty- no line, no one inside. They do have a few unique items like the matcha or hojicha puff pastry. I didn't try those bc back in Orlando we have a few really good Asian bakeries with these items. Overall- wasn't worth the $ for me.
