Came for breakfast with a friend. So many delicious treats! Ordered the Kalbijjim croissant, garlic chive scone and chocolate kouign-amann. Each one was fantastic, I wish I could have ordered more to go with me. Everything was freshly made and had great flavor. Tap to pay available, I'll definitely stop by again!
No line at 11:30 on a Saturday. Plain croissant was a good croissant, almost not sweet at all. Injeolmi was such a delight with the rice cake texture, also not too sweet. Would want to come back to try the Kouign amann and kalbijjim!

Jina Bakes is a must when visiting SF. There was a long line which took appx 40 mins to wait...and some pastries were sold out, but thankfully the popular ones are freshly baked in batches.
The galbi jjim croissant is so flavorful, with the cheese, meats and kimchi. The croissant is flaky and buttery and each bite is divine! The black sesame cream puff also lived up to its hype. The cream is not too sweet so it wasn't too heavy or overbearing. The puff pastry itself is crunchy and the dough has a nice texture (similar to a sweet scone).
I love their take on Asian flavors with classic pastries - a line worth waiting for!

"Kalbijjim Croissant" Jina Bakes, my favorite Asian bakery in San Francisco!! The croissants, puff pastries, cakes, and coffee—everything is delicious! The Kalbijjim croissant, a collaboration with Daehogalbijjim, is amazing, and the Injeolmi croissant is also so tasty! But my absolute favorite is the Garlic Chive Scone!!!
Good but not worth 32 dollars for two pastries and two drink this place is definitely over rated

I went in hoping to find some “wheels,” croissant rolled pastry stuffed with pink cream cheese (?) and dipped in a pink icing, but it was the end of the day and they were running low on everything. (Sign of a great business.) I was lucky to be the last to get a coffee drink. (They stop making drinks at a certain time so they can begin the cleanup process.) I was also able to get a black sesame cream puff and a banana cream croissant. Everything from this bakery is delicious. Go earlier than near-closing time for the best selection.
Jina bakes has some interesting and creative pastries and coffee offerings. They are most known for the galbijim croissant. I think it’s worth trying once but not something I would order again. If I didn’t know that it was supposed to be Galbijim I would have not known. I tasted. Mainly carrot and not much short rib.
The scone I thought was quite good. It had an interesting sweet and savoury combination with a strong buttery taste. I also enjoyed the pear danish. I would definitely get that again.
Their coffee offerings also are quite unique. My wife ordered the honeycomb latte. If you like sweet coffee drinks then this is also worth a try.
