In general now absurdly over priced and under delivered on quality. A 15 dollar smoothie with wrong ingredients blended poorly etc. this place is like an expensive McDonald’s.

I was yesterday with my friend on Filmore location and I order 2 sandwiches,a late a ginger shot and I wanted to pay cash but the guy from the counter told me that he doesn’t have change and is better to pay card,so I paid card!He did not give me anything to sign and choose if I wanna add a tip,any receipt!I asked for my receipt and he told me that he can not print but he can take a picture….At the end he was taking a picture to the receipt and I saw that he charge 25% tip from my card without telling me,without any permission!is this how they are doing right now?I just felt that he robbed me!!!!!He charge me 9 dollars for 35 and without my permission and this was the reason why he didn’t want me to pay cash so he can charge me how much he wanted!I just wanna the others customers to know what they are doing!I do not recommend this place!!!

I love Joe & The Juice so it's such a shame how bad this location is. Their service is always lacking. Such a disconnected / uninterested feeling from the workers/cashier whenever I come here, it's a little bizarre! I've given them many chances but receiving a warm smoothie today unfortunately makes it my last visit. Hope things turn around here

The banana strawberry smoothie I bought was light on taste. Sad that their recipe for this did not use enough fruit in proportion to the milk. At a price tag of $10+tax = $12 Joe & The Juice is surely squeezing your money out of patrons with not enough value in return. Ambiance: why are all the tables (practically) occupied by laptop using patrons... this is a sure way to kill a business. After I got a high-top seat, I could only stay for a bit but other that cute pictures on the walls, I didn't have much to look at. I'd rather go to Peet's instead.

Ordered through DoorDash and my Tunacado Sandwich did not taste fresh! Like other reviews said here - they use expired ingredients! Avocado was all brown and sandwich tasted of something sour and old. Didn't finish it obviously. Disgusting!

Just walked in at 8:18 am just before writing this. Not a single soul in the entire cafe. Went up to order waiting at least two minutes before I was even acknowledged (again, no exaggeration when I say I was the only person in the entire place). The server working today says "we have a lot of online orders, so it'll be about 15 minutes before we can get to you." How on earth are online orders prioritized over someone who WALKS INTO THE ESTABLISHMENT??? I was looking to get some work done and would have definitely been a repeat guest here as I live only a few blocks away now. If I'm the owner/manager of this place, I take a good hard look at what's going on with how this place is being run. It's not a wonder they are scraping the bottom of the barrel on Yelp. Absolute joke that people who walk in are not prioritized over online orders lol.

The food, especially the sandwiches are utterly tasteless. The smoothies are nothing special. The coffee portions are small. A lot of issues with this place, coupled with the extremely high price, makes this easily a 1-star.Wanna spend $50 on breakfast for two people? An airport cafeteria will deliver that but tastier.

Updating my review because the staff seems to be better there lately. Love the spicy tunacado sandwich (regular tunacado too that has avocado), and it's been good the last several times I went -- although I wish they weren't so skimpy with the avocado because they barely put any on. The staff has been generally friendly and seems hardworking, not nearly as surly and spaced out as before. Occasionally someone doesn't make the sandwich well and it doesn't taste as good (that employee hasn't been there most of the times I've been), but not nearly as bad as before. It does take time to get your order, but you can see the employees working hard and they seem to be busy with in-house and takeout orders.

They are using expired ingredients. I reached out to customer care but they never responded. The avocados and tomatoes were spoiled and the avocados seriously messed up my stomach. I ordered delivery so I could not share my concerns with the staff.DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Chunks of super hard date pit, and/or walnut in the blue magic drink routinely – so hard and so plentiful that it could break your teeth. This last time it made me physically ill the day before leaving for an important 10 day trip. When I sought to address this with customer care, they said that they were sorry I was “ dissatisfied” with my purchase. While they offered me a refund which was the right thing, this phrasing is super unfortunate, and made me feel super unimportant and devalued as a customer and a person following patronising, their stores all over the globe for many years. Bummer and beware they don’t care if they make you sick.

far too expensive and quality in service and food has gone way down! No longer recommend this place :(

They are unapologetic and unprofessional. I ordered on door dash and went to pickup. They accepted my order so I made the trip and drove all the way. Upon reaching they said oh sorry we ran out and you have to cancel from door dash. Some weird reasoning that our computer Automatically accepts the order. Pathetic. Unprofessional and unapologetic. Raised their voice and didn't sympathize with the situation either.
