This place rules. It’s an up-and-coming franchise based in Denmark, if I remember correctly. They are in a few other countries besides US, which is neat. It’s a bit spendy, but I do think what they offer is worth the price. They offer great promos through the app. You get a deal on your first order and if you download app after that you get a pretty good hook up on your second order, too. It’s all very healthy and delicious. They have a cool in-app rewards system as well, which makes me want to go back (I’m a sucker for rewards). Unfortunately, you don’t get the points if you use cash, just when you use app to order or pay. They have tons of vegan/GF options. No decaf coffee options sadly, but you can get a chai latte which doesn’t have that much caffeine and is very yummy 🤤. Love their marketing aesthetic, too - not that it matters all that much in terms of the overall dining experience. I have been to 2 of their locations in SF and they are both very spacious and have great decor. If you’re not the social type, you can order through the app and avoid the small talk with staff. Dog friendly, also. 10/10, love this place!!
Dietary restrictions: They have GF options, too.

Joe & The Juice at 235 Montgomery St in San Francisco is a trendy spot with a sleek and modern vibe, perfect for a quick stop during a busy day in the Financial District. The menu offers a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and sandwiches, which are great options for a healthy pick-me-up. The interior is well-designed, with plenty of seating and a vibrant energy that makes it a pleasant place to hang out for a short while.
Unfortunately, my experience was a bit underwhelming. While the juice I ordered was fresh and tasty, it took quite a while to be prepared, even though the store wasn't overly busy. The staff seemed distracted and not very engaged, which made the service feel a bit lackluster. For a place that emphasizes quick and fresh options, I expected the process to be more efficient.
Overall, Joe & The Juice has potential, but there's room for improvement in customer service and operational flow. It's a decent spot for a health-conscious snack or drink, but the experience didn't quite justify the premium price point. I'd give it another try, but with tempered expectations

Unfriendly staff. They ignore U. At every location I have visited. No smile. And no cream for coffee...
SERIOUSLY. Coffee is bland

Joe & The Juice in downtown SF is a great spot for a quick, healthy pick-me-up. The turkey sandwich is a must-try—fresh, light, and satisfying! Friendly staff and a chill vibe make it an ideal stop in the city.

Sorry but the desserts are just not it. The brownie felt like eating processed diabetes. I like the juices for sure but it's overpriced. I hope this comes off as a constructive comment where they improve their brownie cuz they really need to 😭😭
Staff is rude as hell, not to me personally but to other older customers that came in. Not everyone knows the menu and not everyone is fancy with technology/tap to pay but the employees have no patience to explain to their customers or suggest drinks to make the ordering process easy for them, like basic customer service. They are just plain rude. When I asked if they had bathrooms and where they were, the blonde dude with the fried hair ignored me and rolled his eyes and then the second time i asked he just said “1234…” like ok thanks i guess but still where the hell are the bathrooms. Anyways, food was aight.

Nice location, we purchased two drinks, a chai latte which was quite underwhelming. The Barista white male, blond hair working on the 13th October 2024 around 10 am, was such an unwelcoming, impolite, unfriendly person and seemed to lack the knowledge of basic coffee making. It’s Such a bad impression for the company to have such unwelcoming individuals working front line. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while ,it was smelly, there was water puddles all over the floor, paper towels all over the floor and sink, with barley any water coming out of the bathroom faucet.
Trying out this establishment for the first time I have to say it was overall such a terrible experience.

I have purchased an Oatmilk Iced Matcha Latte twice in the last year from the Montgomery Street location in San Francisco, and it was horrible and strong tasting.
I had tried Joe and the Juice in Florida on vacation about a year ago, for the first time, and the same drink was amazing from two different Florida locations. But I couldn't be more dissatisfied at the San Francisco Montgomery location. How does a drink go from phenomenal in one state to gross in another?? Something is wrong with the way that the Montgomery store makes it. I tried it twice from there and won't ever go back again. I just wasted my money twice! They would have had a new loyal customer if the product had been good like the ones in Florida.

The store is so super cute, the vibes would be amazing if the staff didn’t have an attitude. My girls and I walked into the store and were immediately greeted with hostility. The two girls were so rude and gave eachother gross looks when we walked in and proceeded to give rude customer service. Not girls girls, so rude like fix your attitude not sure why you’re upset you have to do your job while at work.

Non-existent service. There were four employees behind the counter, no other customers waiting to order, and I stood there for almost a full minute before walking out because not a single employee could be bothered.
