The best ice cream ever!
I have been here many times since I was in middle school and before they moved here. The original location was across the street, it was like an old school diner with bar seating that made you feel like home. I mainly come here for their homemade ice cream usually when I am in the area and where I am craving for some ice cream. They have many delicious and unique flavors to choose from. Also they have other options like shakes, sundaes, dipped cones, add on toppings and much more. One side of the shop is for ice cream and the other half is for the grill and foods. The food they offer here are delicious and worth the try such as burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads, hot dogs nd much more. Everything is made to order which is a plus and I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Seating is available both in the interior and outdoor patio where you can enjoy and relax. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. I definitely recommend this place to anyone craving for ice cream, if you are willing to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.
Absolutely delicious. Got a Dalgona scoop and a Strawberry Shortcake. Both delicious and so creamy. Both people working tonight were incredibly friendly and helpful! I already have my next choice picked out thanks to them for my next visit!
Also the shop is just super cute!
The sweetest mom pop ice cream shop!
Some good ice cream. But also some good burgers and fries! Go when it's sunny. Go when it's cloudy (because it's more often than not cloudy in the Richmond). Go whenever.
The bulgogi burger is my favorite. The sauce is chef's kiss.
Excellent locally-owned, decades-old business that combines an ice cream with a Korean-American fusion grill menu. The ice cream portion of the business is open during the entirety of business hours while the grill has more limited hours. Seating available inside and outside.
I wanted to love Joe's 🫤🫣 but the pistachio and almond ice cream tasted artificial. The banana was meh.
The girl who was working and scooping is very pleasant and friendly. I'll definitely come back to give the biz another chance.
Great flavors & staff!
My go to for cheese dog and banana shake.
Fun fact- Did you know it was Joe’s that invented bubblegum ice cream!

Gotta love neighborhood centered ice cream shops like Joe's!
Simple delicious family friendly!
This place has majorly gone down hill since I lived in the area 10 years ago. I’ve gone twice recently in the past month and tried out some old favorites.
Salted caramel - Used to be very salty, now has no salt and is just caramel.
Cookies and cream - Had approximately 1/4 of one probably off brand oreo in my scoop.
Cookie dough - Counted 1.5 cookie dough nubs.
I just don’t appreciate feeling like you’re cheaping out on every flavor by putting the bare minimum in. Seems like something happened during covid and they are comfortable doing the bare minimum now.
Not only is Joe’s burger the best in San Francisco, it is my favorite burger in the whole world.
What a gem in the Richmond! Really good, well priced burgers and fries. Great ice cream selection. Staff was very friendly. Its really nice to see a good ice cream shop in the neighborhood.
