My friends and I recently visited Joe's Ice Cream & Burgers, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in the Richmond of San Francisco this gem of a spot offers a fantastic selection of ice creams and savory treats that will leave you craving for more. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the ice cream! Joe's boasts an extensive array of flavors, making it a paradise for any ice cream enthusiast. After much deliberation, I opted for the bubblegum ice cream, and it was nothing short of amazing. The creamy texture combined with bursts of nostalgic flavor made every spoonful a true delight. But the goodness doesn't stop there. Joe's also offers a tempting selection of burgers and other savory options, promising a satisfying meal for those looking to indulge their taste buds further. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings. Overall, our experience at Joe's Ice Cream & Burgers was nothing short of exceptional. With its wide selection of ice creams, inviting ambiance, and friendly service, it's no wonder this place earns a perfect 5/5 stars in my book. Whether you're craving a sweet treat or a hearty meal, Joe's has something for everyone. I'll definitely be back for more, and I highly recommend you pay them a visit too!

Sampled my usual Asian flavors of Earl Grey, Thai Tea, black sesame. The first two were a bust -- the tea flavors were not there and there was this weird flavor coming through the ice cream that I didn't like. The black sesame had a strong black sesame flavor so I went with that one. Black sesame ice cream - black sesame flavor was prominent. It was the only flavor out of the ones that I tried that I was okay with. I really wanted ice cream that day, so I went with this. There was a chewy texture to the ice cream that I wasn't a fan of. Makes me suspect there are gums in the ice cream ingredient list. All in all, I wouldn't come here again for ice cream.

Heaven heaven heaven. I love the old school feel of this place. Just stopped in for a weeknight treat and found the Dalgona Coffee flavor. Oh damn it is my new favorite. Thankfully they have a reward system so I can feel better about my new ice cream habit.

I got sesame. Not too sweet. A bit icy. Good bite. They are fast scoopers. Get you in and out.

Joe's Ice Cream hit the spot after dim sum down the street. I was in the mood for ice cream and search Yelp and I looked up and lo and behold, I had parked 2 doors down from Joes. I had their Coffee along with Rocky Road and both were creamy and rich. Service was friendly. Interesting concept as the ice creamery is on the right side while the grill is on the left side and look to operate as separate entities. I only had the ice cream so I can't speak to the burgers but they looked good. Place is clean and bright and it helps that everyone seemed happy. I'll be back.

overpriced and rude. After ordering a couple dogs and fries that seemed very over priced, I tipped $5 to support a local small business. When I asked for ranch for the fries they said 50 cents. I willingly paid. He then rang it up and it came out to 75 cents with tax! I have never been so upset that I tipped first and got crappy service after!

We stopped by here for dessert after dinner since we were craving ice cream. It has the feel of an old timey place and it has some historical significance if you literally read the writing on the wall outside. So, get your cameras ready for some cool pics. Although I'm not sure why I didn't take anything. I guess it was late @ night and it was dark and cold. The service was good. We were greeted kindly by the gentleman behind the counter. There were many flavors available. I would say more than a dozen? I didn't count actually. He also gave us some tastes since we were non-committal. Although in terms of flavors, there wasn't really one that I haven't seen before where I would think, "wow, I wonder how that is." But there was the one flavor that I just couldn't resist. The one to rule them all. I decided on picking the mint Oreo. To think of it the O in Oreo does look like a shape of a ring right? My Precious!! In general, I don't like mint chocolate chip ice cream but the selling point here was the Oreo part. I guess Oreo essentially is a magic word (my precccioussss) for me. I usually like anything with Oreo in it for example cookies and cream ice cream. Now cookies will think "masssteer betrayyyed usss". Since I love Oreo so much, I did enjoy this mix with mint plus Oreo. I didn't have to taste it because I'm sure I remember what Oreo and mint tastes like. My wife, on the other hand, tested out a few flavors such as banana and I forgot what the other was. But she decided on getting the single size (where you can get two scoops of ice cream and it can be two scoops of one flavor or two scoops of two different flavors. Ah ha, now that was the selling point for her two flavors in one). She just wanted the variety to have two different flavors. I just went junior size which is one scoop of one flavor since I just didn't want too many sweets in my system. Anyhow, the flavors she choose was earl gray and green tea. However she did not enjoy it as much as I did. She felt the flavor wasn't strong enough. Overall, I feel that I got what I wanted so I was satisfied . Maybe, I may come back again in the future if there were no other ice cream shops open in the area and I really needed a fix. Or if I just want to take some cute photos. :)

Good ice cream! I'll be back to try the rest of the food. Little expensive, $8 for a double scoop, but the ice cream was rich and the portion was generous. I got the Thai tea (very tasty) and the mango (exceptional). Both were not what I expected, but once I got used to them, they were great. I'll be back for more tasting! A handful of flavors caught my eye. I love the unique Asian flavors, can't wait to try those. Red bean ice cream especially. A great spot in SF for a treat or snack!

I hadn't been to Joe's Ice Cream in years, not since they were located kitty corner to where they are now! This "new" location is so cute!! Everything is bright and clean looking with lots of cute things on the walls. They seem to offer more food items than I remember them offering when they were in their old location. I only had ice cream (actually dalgona coffee ice cream and passion fruit sorbet), but all the others had the bulgogi burger with the curly fries. Everyone loved their burgers! They looked really juicy and delicious; maybe next time! I had some of the fries dipped in gochujang sauce and they were pretty good. The portion of fries was huge, so they can definitely be shared! The burgers came with mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, and I think tomato and a side of bulgogi sauce, although there might have been sauce cooked with the patty, too. My dalgona coffee ice cream was absolutely delicious; so creamy and rich! After tasting it, I had to order it! And any time there's passion fruit anything, I *have* to have it!! The two balanced themselves; rich and creamy and light and tart! I believe they make all their own ice creams, sherbets, and sorbets. The women working there were friendly and welcoming, especially the young women. The older woman was a bit more reserved, but maybe there was a language barrier. Anyway, the young women more than made up for it! I always like to support family businesses, especially when the people working are nice! I'll have to go back soon and tow my grandkids along, too!

Good ice cream. They only forgot the banana in my banana split twice but they replaced it with a new one. Yay! Great place.
