Decent Christmas cocktails. GREAT service. Host (Chris) and our server (Fernando) were very quick. Really hard to find places with good service. Checked on us very often.

If you love SF and want to see it sparkle at night the rooftop of Kaiyo is THE place to see it. The service was wonderful and the food was tasty! The people at the bar seemed social and my drink was perfect (the Kin) Definitely a place to bring someone you want to impress

We walked in on a Friday night and still had difficulty getting seated, despite seeing available tables and arriving well before the next reservation block. I regretted ordering the Pisco Sour. The egg aroma was too strong, and I couldn’t enjoy taking a sip..

Came here before a couple years ago and the place has improved! Although I was sad about some options not being available, the food nevertheless was incredibly delicious. Drinks were good too. Had to wait about 20 minutes or so, but I highly recommend getting a reservation.

Outside dinging with blankets and heaters. Easy to talk to your table. Some menu items were unavailable and the chicken katsu sando tasted fishy. Beef empanadas were very good.

Started with fries, pulpo, and mushroom. All amazing. Fries were cooked well and lightly seasoned, mushrooms were sauteed in a delicious sauce, and the pulpo was still soft with nice char, and slightly spicy.
Also tried the matcha pesto fettuccine and spicy scallop udon. I wasn't too impressed with the matcha pesto. I didn't taste much of the matcha but my dinner companions did. Even just as a regular pesto dish, I thought it was bland. The udon noodles were cooked to perfection and gave that qq feel but I again thought the sauce was missing something. There was a good amount of heat but not much of anything else. Presentation for both dishes were great though.
Also shared the short rib dish. Def the star of the night. Delicious with corn riblets and smaller veggies in the sauce. Def would order again.
Had the matcha smore and guava creme brulee for dessert. Both were super tasty and would also order both again. Smore dish was super rich and the creme brulee was light and refreshing! Def get both of you go.
Service was quick and friendly too! Loved the decor of the restaurant and we also went up to their rooftop bar for a quick photo session. Amazing views of the city!

What a great place! We went right after a Giants game, had no reservation but they sat us at a table along the glass right by the bar! Within seconds Alex was at our table welcoming us and took our drink order. She was wonderful and so sweet!! We loved the vibe, the view and the food was amazing! The entire staff is next level attentive!! We will be back!

Cool place very good idea to make reservations. Views are amazing, but bring a jacket or hoodie! Service is great, drinks are great, but food was a little disappointing. Not bad, just quite flavorless. Not a good place for kids, please don't do it.

We had to remind the staff multiple times about both food and drinks that they had forgotten about. My grandma ordered tea and didn’t get it until we reminded the staff multiple times and it was nearing the end of our meal. We ordered small plates at the beginning that were just completely forgotten even with reminders to the staff, we never ended up getting the food. Everyone was kind and the atmosphere was cool, the food was ok, but the service was quite terrible. The forgotten items didn’t end up on the bill but when we mentioned it to staff they were like ok well it’s not on the bill so no problem and didn’t really seem to care.
