I’m kind of sad tourists have flocked to this place as it is a local favorite for cheap eats and now it’s not so hidden anymore. I don’t think the decor changed in over 20 years but it’s ok. It’s not the cleanest pf restaurants, but I always come back for the roasted duck.
I’m usually quite critical about restaurants, but I used to ride my motorcycle all the way from Sacramento just for the duck here. It’s genuinely that good, worth every mile and every visit.
We were craving for some Chinese BBQ platter and this place did a good number on it! I especially liked their char siu it has good flavor and it’s not too sweet and the meat is very tender.

Also — SF has the oldest Chinatown in the US so it’s worth visiting the area and getting some freshly cooked sesame balls around the area after this meal!
