Used to love Kara’s but the last few times they’ve been stale and hard. Last time I went the rack was covered in fruit flies and they acted like they didn’t see them.

I order close to $500 worth of cupcakes for a birthday party. They were supposed to deliver the cupcakes at 3PM. Their driver (not doordash) delivered at 12PM and dumped them on the venue steps. They didn't ring the door bell or walk the 20 feet to the open pro shop. A club member happened to see them on the steps and bring them in. This could have ended so badly. The street in front of the club has very heavy foot traffic. The cupcakes are good, but their delivery service was beyond disappointing. I will never order for an event again from them.

Kara's Cupcakes is my absolute favorite cupcake place. So much so that whenever visitors have come to town, I would usually make it a point to take them here as my own sweet treat.
While you can't really go wrong with any selections from their menu, their Gluten-Free Chocolate Velvet cupcake (with chocolate sprinkles on top) is divine. It's been my favorite since before I really knew much of what gluten-free was all about. Their Sweet S'mores cupcake is also quite a special treat with its graham cracker crust on the bottom, and its marshmallow-y goodness is reminiscent of a much fancier & delectable version of a Hostess Ding Dong.
One of the best cupcakes I ever had. Also the hot chocolate was great.

My family loves Kara’s over sprinkles. Locally sourced ingredients. Pricey but worth it.

The woman working the front desk was very brusk and I found her a bit rude. Both my cupcakes were dry, even red velvet, which is a classic.

Delicious and well priced mini cupcakes. I really liked the regular and velvet chocolate cupcakes. I was not a fan of the napoletana, but I guess that's cz I'm a chocolate person ?

Hands down the best cupcakes in San Francisco!!
They have a great selection here.
Great cupcakes!
My son's favorite cupcakes. Standard flavors. Quality, organic, locally sourced ingredients. Friendly service.
1 star is for the frosting and 1 star is for service. The cake is very dry and the ratio of cupcake to frosting is off. Would not recommend unless cake was fixed.
