I was very impressed with how good the samosas were! Makes me want to try more from the menu. Everything vegan is clearly marked Updated from previous review on 2026-02-10

Great food. Staff busy on phones as I waited for them to give me my pickup order.

Great food, cute decorative atmosphere.
It is very self service forward though- place your order at a kiosk and grab your order from the counter, then clear your table yourself.

We’re so lucky to have Kasa Indian Restaurant right in our neighborhood. Not only is the food consistently delicious (the samosas are a must!), but Kasa is also incredibly supportive of the local community. They have always been generous supporters of our local public school, and it truly means a lot to have neighborhood businesses that give back to public education. Great food, great people, and a business that genuinely cares about the community making it the kind of place you want to support.

I’m only giving it 4 stars because I paid the extra $3 for a “larger portion” of the chicken tikka, and it is literally the same size as the “half rice”. I’m just confused on how it works here. Food was AMAZING, just don’t appreciate paying the extra $3 for a half size anyway.

The tikka masala and saag paneer were surprisingly bland. Like BLAND.

Samosa was good, though.

Also, pricey.

Not going back.

My second time here and it gets better each time! While I met a few Indians and Indian food lovers the last time, I happened to meet the business owner this time around. Anamika was super kind, checking on me multiple times. We struck up another eating conversation on marketing, elders, technology, Gen Z, our future.. over a thali that couldn’t finish!!

The potion sizes were generous, the food was thoughtful and delicious and the extra dips were a nice touch to navigate spice levels for those who’re unsure.

Staff are warm, and know what they’re doing. Din’t have a chai this time, even though Anamika was kind enough to offer, the meal was full!

It’s a piece of home away from India and hope it continues to stay that way and the legacy lives on!

It’s surprisingly hard to find freshly brewed chai in SF, and after spending a few months in London I got spoiled. I was so happy to discover Kasa—they serve a wonderfully flavorful, fresh-brewed chai every day. The staff is always friendly, the space smells amazing, and everything feels warm and inviting. Love this place and can’t wait to come back for dinner soon!

Worst service ever , worst food taste , uncooked roti , The guy on the counter, when I asked him about lentil, which lentil is it, he kept on saying and repeating its a daal I asking for the specific lentil he failed l respond to that, but before that I was on the counter had did not even address me which was quite rude of him. I will recommend not to come here and I am not good restaurants better go there but and not this lrestaurant, here they add egg in naan , lol which Indian resto do that.

Delicious, quick, and healthy Indian food wrapped up in a roti or naan - what's not to love? Plus the chai is excellent 👌

I have no complaints about the food, but I have to update my earlier review as I’ve just realized that they’ve been charging a hidden 4% junk fee for all orders and hiding it under the “tax” line item.

If they want to charge a fee instead of just increasing prices, that’s their decision, but it’s wrong (and illegal) to hide a 4% extra charge and claim it’s just tax. This isn’t posted anywhere on their website or when you order.

I even reached out to them in case they weren’t aware of it, but I never heard back.

We went for lunch looking at positive reviews. We were disappointed bitterly. Ordered aloo tiki chaat and they served frozen tikki and that too seeemd cold and not cooked properly. Roti Kati was soggy and cauliflower inside was completely bland. We couldn’t even eat and left leaving the food behind. Save your time and health.
