What an absolutely amazing experience. We were only in SF for the night. This place was the reason we were here. Chef Ken did an amazing job explaining everything. He was very knowledgeable on the fish he was serving. This was our first Omakase experience and it was truly memorable.
Hats off to Chef Ken for making us fall even more in love food.

An unmarked and unassuming building at the corner of Haight and Divisadero houses Ken Sushi. It was an amazing Omakase experience - delicious, inventive, and WAY less fussy than some others we’ve done. No Sake pairing here…just pick water or pick a bottle of Sake and let Chef Ken and the sushi shine!

Our Omakase experience was truly delightful! Chef Ken’s knowledge and passion for sushi shone through with every course. He explained the background of each fish and the way he prepared it to highlight its unique flavors. The cozy seating added to the intimate atmosphere. The quality of the fish was exceptional, and the way Ken used his ingredients to accentuate the flavors was amazing. It was the perfect birthday dinner for my friend - I’m so glad I chose this place, and I can’t believe I almost missed out on this hidden gem!

My partner and I had a wonderful experience here. We’ve been to our fair share of omakase, but this is one of my favorites in the Bay Area. The seating is cozy, enough for 7 people, so the experience is very intimate. The chef is also very knowledgeable and gives a lot of background on the fish and sushi he is serving. He tries to give his customers a variety of flavors and that really showed! Each fish and dish were different in either the ingredients or the way the fish was made. I enjoyed everything that was served (rare for a tasting experience for me since sometimes there would be fish and flavors that I would not really like) and we will be back again!

KEN was an excellent dive into omakase, and lent a casual take on a beautiful experience. Over two hours, we were served piece after piece of beautifully crafted sushi and sides (soups, custards, rice, etc) and it is absolutely worth saving up for this experience <3

March 2024:Enjoyed a wonderful omakase dinner at this small intimate restaurant. Chef Ken is a very personable and warm host.The sushi and sashimi were the highlights of the dinner. The fatty tuna ? was my favorite! ?I like how Chef Ken adds a personal touch to the menu.I would definitely come back again for another omakase dinner!
