Now that's what I call pizza! The thin crust baked in a wood oven is absolutely fantastic. The beer selection is also excellent, and if you order a flight, you can sample most of them!

The pizza is totally legit and the salads are big and satisfying. This was my 2nd visit. It's becoming a regular spot for whenever I have to visit UCSF. It's a short walk from the medical buildings.
We came for a late lunch. This time we had a Caesar salad and a Margherita Pizzetta. The Caesar was surprisingly good and the dressing tasted homemade. It wasn't too creamy, which is a pet peeve for me. The pizza was warm and delicious. And it's a cool place to hang out. Our server was friendly and helpful. I will return.

Hamada & Joe have invested their lives in this restaurant and it shows! They are so gracious and welcoming that everyone coming in immediately feels at home. The atmosphere is fun, the beer selection is cool, the food great. Of course the exceptional pizza helps!

I think Kezar Pizzetta makes the best pizza in SF! It's a small family-run place that is dedicated to the craft, recently investing in a wood-burning oven imported from Italy. The crusts are perfection, high-quality fresh toppings, the manzo e burrata with wagyu salami is soooo damn good. They also prepare excellent fresh salads and other dishes and specialties. They are also beer-lovers and keep an excellent rotation of craft brews. The owners are super friendly and are there every day working hard to provide their customers excellent food and service. Love this neighborhood gem!
