Lots of interesting food options. I enjoyed my egg dish.

Very mid food for such a high price. Their noodles were soggy and flavorless. I rather eat buldak instant noodles. Not worth almost $30

Just because they close at 2:30 doesn't mean that at 2:00 I get rushed and bad food and service.

Good food but very poor service. The guy who was in charge of our table seemed not happy that day, and it showed up in his face and attitude.
The back of my seat is a small empty space where you have to walk by before entering kitchen/restroom. My coat fell on the ground. I guess at least three different staff walk by but nobody reminded me of my coat until I found out before I leave.
Also, when we asked for to-go box to wrap up the leftovers, the guy came back with a box. And I asked again for having a bag.

I loved Kitchen Story! Before today. Today is our son’s 1st birthday and we decided to take him back for his favorite omelette and fruit bowl. We got there, got on the waitlist and patiently waited while groups who came after us were seated and we were conveniently skipped over. We asked and we were told our turn will come. It didn’t for more than 30 minutes and we had to leave, because waiting more than that with a 1 year old is not really an option. Sorry, Kitchen Story, but you lost a customer who always left 25% tip. If you don’t like kids, that’s okay. But don’t make them suffer.

I’ve been there a few times and it’s a cool spot no question, but the service is borderline rude/inconvenient a party of 6 and our friend drop us off to go park the car he is literally coming we can see him walking down the block and they won’t sit us because we are not complete… ok… fine then they said that 2 of us drinking coffee have to finish our drinks before they are able to sit us im sorry but while I understand policy from place to place I find this place a bit too strict to the point is inconvenient and it’s a shame because the food is delicious here.

Kitchen Story was such a good brunch pick! We got the eggs benedict with roasted potatoes and veggies, and everything was super fresh and flavorful. The little side of pico really tied it all together.
For drinks, I went with the sesame latte (no caffeine) and loved how creamy and nutty it was. My friend got a regular latte with caffeine and said it was spot on. The edible flower garnish was such a cute touch too!
The vibe here is really relaxed, and the staff was friendly and quick. Definitely a great spot for good food and chill brunch vibes.

If you’re craving a delicious brunch, this place is a must-try. While the outdoor seating was a bit chilly, the heaters made it cozy enough to enjoy. We found the indoor seating too stuffy for our liking, but that’s easily overlooked when the food steals the show.
We started with the millionaire bacon flight, and fresco Benedict which were packed with rich, savory flavors, and moved on to the mascarpone-stuffed, deep-fried French toast—crispy on the outside, creamy and indulgent on the inside. The ricotta hotcake was a standout, perfectly fluffy and topped with generous servings of fresh blueberries and strawberries that added a refreshing sweetness. Portions were impressively large, so come hungry!
While they offer bottomless mimosas, just a heads-up: it comes with plenty of warnings about overindulgence, so pace yourself if you decide to give them a try! we opted for coffee and fresh juice, both of which hit the spot
It’s a place I’d happily return to, not just for the food but for the overall experience.

Kitchen Story is a solid brunch spot in SF. We went around 1 PM without a reservation and got seated right away. The cocktails were good, and the coffee was excellent. We tried the ribeye Benedict, which was tasty and delicious, but the crab Benedict was a bit disappointing and lacked flavor. Overall, it was a decent experience, though there’s room for improvement.

Per person cost should be expected to be around $50 here. We paid $100-$120 during the last two visits. I included the employee health insurance tax (which they added by default) in my 20% tip in my second visit and that is why I paid only $100.

I had an awesome omelet and this innovated French toast. It's like Indian malpua dessert on steroids. I couldn't eat it even if being a sweet tooth. Also, my partner had Benedict which was okay, the potatoes were soft instead of crisp. Overall, it was an okay experience. Had more expectations.
