Kokkari Estiatorio is a gem and I'm so happy we had our anniversary dinner here. I could cry about the desserts. They were DELICIOUS!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant that we have been to many times. Never disappoints. Everything about the experience at Kokkari is great. The ambience, service and most importantly the food is outstanding. We started with the Octopus appetizer. It was perfect. So tasty. We the had the Peach and Feta Salad. The peaches were perfectly ripe and so sweet. Great salad! I had the Pork Shoulder and others in our party had the Branzino and Lamb Chops. Everyone loved their entree. Finished up with the amazing gelato sundae topped with whipped cream and roasted hazelnuts. Love Kokkari and would absolutely recommend it when in San Francisco.

Very noisy due to table's proximity to open kitchen. Had to make a deposit for the table, which was refunded, but restaurant was about 3/4 full, handful of empty tables just around our table. After eating out for 3 straight nights at various high end restaurants, was surprised at the bill here. Was planning on a lunch here next month, but will now go somewhere else.

Five of us dined at Kokkari and we all had a wonderful dinner. We ordered multiple appetizers, and several different entrees. Our waiter (who was helpful and lovely) assisted us in ordering everything including the wine- all great! This is a beautiful restaurant with great food and service and it never disappoints! Highest recommendation!

Our server was super nice and recommended all the good things! The portions were really good, the food was absolutely amazing and we spent about 80$ person for 3 people which I think is fair for the service and food you get.

Exceptional food. Some of the best in SF and definitely the best Greek restaurant here, hands down. Lovely luxurious yet rustic dining room. The service was outstanding, our courses were delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. I keep coming back. Highly recommend!

Most of the menu offerings are delicious. A few are just OK. I don't recommend the spanakopita which tastes no different from the prepackaged kind you'll find in the frozen section at your supermarket. The waitstaff are terrific and helpful in explaining Greek into English. I highly recommend the fish of the day, whether roasted or grilled. There was a pasta special the last night I was there and it wasn't good. It was a thick ravioli with way too much dough. The dips are really tasty and are served with a relish tray of pita and pickled vegetables. You can find some good wines, American, Greek, others.

The experience was top notch. Never had such care and expertise with service. Each staff member had a job and they all worked in unison. It was magical how the small service tasks were carried out with an understanding of when each plate, food item, bread, drink, etc. occurred at its ultimate timeframe. And this was done when the restaurant was busy. The food was exceptional and the bar drinks arrived with amazing speed. I'm

Warm and welcomed service all the time. Also, the decoration is pretty, and classic. Food is pretty good, we had sea bass, fresh, and well cooked! Also, moussaka is the best in town! 🤩

I have been coming to Kokkari and it's sister restaurant Evvia for 26 years and it never disappoints.

Lovely venue. My favorite so far in San Francisco. Hosted a lunch for 25 in their private dining room then a meeting for 4 coffee and deserts. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Kokkari Estiatorio!

I ordered the lamb chops as my main dish. They were cooked to the doneness I requested, but unfortunately, they were a bit chewy, which likely points to the meat quality. One side was literally blackened burnt which suggests they were cooked over extremely high heat or directly on a flame. That was disappointing.
Service was just okay. After finishing our first dish, my wife and I stepped away to the restroom. When we returned, our used plates were still on the table. We actually had to ask the staff to clear them so we could receive our next course. Even more surprising, with our first dish after the appetizers, they brought the plates to the table without clearing the old ones first. There wasn’t room, so my wife and I ended up holding our finished plates while they set down the new ones and then they took the used dishes straight from our hands. That’s not something I’ve experienced before in a restaurant of this type.

Overall, the food execution and service details left quite a bit of room for improvement.
