It had a good rating, so even though it was a long way from the hotel, it was worth visiting. Sushi and rolls were also available.
I was completely satisfied with the cold tofu grilled yellowtail~^^

This place offers delicious food coming out of an adorable (and clean) sushi spot, and has a positive, communicative staff.

I purchased the Half-Baked roll (to-go), which I suppose is their version of a Lion King roll, except that it doesn’t have the cucumber. It has avacado.

Notes: There was more than an adequate amount of wasabi and ginger with my order, which I appreciate. Their to-go presentation and takeout packaging overall is one the cleanest, and best, I’ve ever seen.

Thank you,

C Mars

10/30/24 update: i ordered a roughly $12 with tax salmon avocado roll after hitting the gym at 24hr van ness and it was delicious and refreshing, a bit lighter when I don’t want the spicy mayo sauce on the half-baked. ?

Recommendations: Chef's choice nitro, specialty rolls (fresca), chef recommended nigiri

Awesome spot for good quality sushi! Recommend getting the chef's choice nigiri and then asking them for other recommendations. Great sake selection as well.

We got a take out and the food was average. I had high expectations since both the ratings and the pictures look great from other reviews. I am assuming the experience can be different for dine-in.

Nigiri was good.

A tiny but amazing sushi spot in SF. Everything was top notch and some of the best sushi I have had outside of Japan. I never tend to order tofu along with fish but the local tofu dish here is a must try. One of new favorite sushi spots now.

Everything was really good but I want to give special recognition to the tofu. I have never ordered tofu and have only had it in miso soup but wow that was so good. Would go back for the tofu.

Very good sushi, the place is small and you might end up sitting next to the restroom. But the quality was hight and the sushi is tasteful. The nigiri was greatttt!

This is our nee favorite sushi spot. The fresca roll is divine. Everything else we ordered was also amazing: both the tofu and egg custard appetizers were delicious; the sashimi was too. I can’t find the menu online and don’t remember the names of these dishes :( basically, everything the server recommended was 10/10

This is our current favorite sushi restaurant. The sushi is innovative, but the fish still comes through. My wife always orders the chirashi.
The service is attentive and friendly and it's a very pleasant place to enjoy our sushi.
