Lovely little bakery in cute Cole Valley. The quiche was some of the best I’ve ever had. Delicious coffee too.

Have been a loyal customer for years and used to love coming here for a quick coffee and a pastry. As many people have mentioned, the place has changed for the worse. Food quality is fine, but the stuff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. With just one more person waiting behind me, they had an audacity to tell me off for holding the line! (an entire transaction took less then two minutes). Additional customer service skills training won't hurt, or customers will be taking their business elsewhere.

I used to loooove this place, and even during CoVID, it was great in food quality and service. However, it's been a bit over a year since my last visit here and today I noticed a change in the cafe decor (a cheap "modernized" upgrade), and, what used to be (per my opinion as an almond croissant worshipper..) the best almond croissant in SF, now is the worst I've ever had - salty and chewy dough and no filling! Tasted like a mass produced version like that which one gets at places like Pete's, Starbuck's and other chain cafes. The coffee has changed too, and it tastes like Pete's Coffee, which is why I came here in the past - because it never did and was much better! Place also has more a vibe of a chain cafe rather than the mom 'n pops that it was for years.... :(

Cute Parisan cafe with plenty of indoor seating and a few outdoor patio seating. There are a few wall outlets by the window in case you need to do long study/work sessions. Service was standard and friendly. I got a large matcha latte and a chicken salad, both pretty good but a little pricy for what they are.

Great neighborhood place for a quick bite. Good salads, quiches, sandwiches, pastries and soups. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Ordered delivery service for their top croissants and when it arrived, I couldn't smell the freshness. (I worked at two bakeries and the nose knows.) When I cut into the almond croissant, the crust didn't flake and the inside wasn't buttery. This is 10 in the morning and I wanted fresh croissants, but these couldn't have been made within the past 5 hours. Sad...

I visited some friends recently and gotta say. I miss being able to enjoy a croissant and matcha latte outside year round. During my weekend vacay here, I came to the boulangerie twice. It's pretty friggin good yall. Hands down, one of the best ham n cheese croissants in the city.

It's a great stop if your near Haight! (Other: Castro, Fillmore, and Hayes Area) Haight, Hayes: There's limited outlets but great to work, it's nice to relax at this cafe while having a stroll too. All: Pretty good quiches, sandwiches, and pastries. There are seasonal options so be on the lookout to try them. Coffee is usually good ;) The workers are kind! All slightly different aesthetic. Castro: Amazing for brunch, larger groups. Great location near the park. Fillmore: Small, no working space.

Tasty food but rude ungrateful staff. Will sell you something then 1 minute later tell you they're closing early. Where are you supposed to enjoy your $20 meal with 6% sf service fee? On a bench next to the bums?

Pretty tasty variety of sweet and savory pastries, coffee, and sandwiches, And right in our neighborhood! But sadly they serve every. single. thing. in throwaway containers. Eating a delicious quiche out of a cardboard box with a "compostable"plastic fork is just a bummer, both for the diner and for the landfill.

You’ve got to try the garlicky kale and goat cheese quiche and the pistachio croissant. Scrumptious. ✨
