This was my second time dining at La Connessa, and it was just as incredible as the first. The food is, without question, outstanding. The pasta is light, fresh, and full of flavor, served in portions that leave you satisfied without feeling heavy. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and genuinely delicious. The ambiance is beautiful—warm, lively, and exactly the kind of place you want to linger. But what truly sets La Connessa apart is the customer service. No matter how busy it gets, you never feel forgotten. Your water glass is always topped off, your cocktail glass is never left empty, and empty plates never linger on the table. Everything is timed seamlessly, making the entire dining experience feel effortless and cared for. It's rare to find a restaurant that nails every detail, and La Connessa does it with ease. I'm already looking forward to becoming a regular. Thank you for being consistently amazing.

It was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. Highly recommend this place and get the halibut carpaccio, mushroom pizza and the lemon basil sorbet will change your life. Just trust me!! And this place is gorgeous at night with great service and wines. Love it!

Fantastic service with a very friendly staff. Extremely knowledgeable bartender. Food is amazing. The place is a bit cold, had to keep my jacket all night long. Other than that, one of the best places for me in San Francisco right now.

Dining at La Connessa is always a treat. The waiter (who we've had before) was excellent. And the dessert, a strawberry cream concoction, was fabulous!

Restaurant was beautifully appointed with amazing staff who were easily available and knowledgeable about food and wine. Seating was comfortable, and there was no waiting for seating, service or any question you might have. Beautiful experience. Food was very good and while everything was enjoyable it was not quite a match for the rest of the experience. Still pushing into the effortless excellence that is possible with Italian cuisine but they are close.

Everything was outstanding. Even when drinks got delayed, manager took care of it and that was amazing! Staff was awesome! Only reason I gave 4 and not 5, is because our waitress took 25 min to give us the bill and we sat there forever waiting to pay. Weird because it seemed she had forgotten about our table after it was cleaned up and dinner was finished.

Nice place. Generally good overall but the orecchiette dish was super salty and visually unappealing. Otherwise, great drinks...great service and the rest of the food was very good.

The menu was very slim -- not many choices. The steak and spaghetti entrees were good, but the salad was below average. Service was average at best. Waiter was not exceptionally friendly, and seemed to feel imposed upon when asked about individual entree contents. But although the food and service were certainly not outstanding, my overall rating would be "Average +" if the prices had been more reasonable. With no alcohol, the bill came to $200 for 2 people for a marginally better than average meal. Totally unacceptable!!!
