This place transported me back to times in France when my family ordered cheese in fromageries, so much so that I almost forgot I was in SF. Didn't try dine-in, but for shopping, the selection of French cheeses was extensive and delicious.

The thing that really sold me was the staff though, who were super French in the best sense. They were super friendly and greeted me upon entering, gave recommendations personalized to taste, and were super knowledgeable in each cheese's taste and texture, and accompanying food pairing.

Unreal prices for sandwiches made of very high quality ingredients. Haven’t found anything that comes close to this quality to cost ratio. They are very friendly and give out delicious cheese samples. My favorites on the menu are the Parissien sandwich (add some Kewpie mayo at home) and the La Mancha salad on arugula.

I organize events for a community of 2,450+ French speakers (hundreds of French people), and La Fromagerie is now our provider for our cheese tastings and cheese dinners (e.g., raclette)!

This place has some of the best cheeses I have ever tried! Dylan is very friendly and will tell you all about their products. I felt like travelling through France again. We got some soft goat cheese and truffle cheese. Both were amazing!

We stopped for a quick lunch break intrigued by the cheese counter. We took two sandwiches, one Touluse and unfortunately I don't remember the other. Both exquisite. Fresh ingredients, fresh crusty bread. We would have done an encore but we were in a hurry. They also have cutting boards on the menu that you can customize.
I would recommend the venue to get an umbrella for the outside seating, we were pretty cooked after 10 minutes in the sun. For the rest the staff are very kind, they speak French.

Excellent food with excellent people. Recomand!
