Ive been coming to this store since about 10 years ago and ever since the store changed owners the cashier staff hasn't provided good service. Two of my friends told me that they had gotten scammed. They were overcharged and I didn't believe it until it happened to me. My brother went and bought a container of cheese with drinks and these people charged him almost $100 instead of what should've been $30. I've noticed that they also have very unorganized areas such as the far end of the first row where the vegetables are. I went twice to look for birthday balloons and birthday bags but it was so unorganized i couldn't find neither. The taqueria has also changed a lot. They whole back of the store used to be filled with people buying food but now you hardly see anyone back there.

Not many price tags, had to abandon half of what i got as a load of bread is $5 and a can of tubers is $6. It is decent for produce though! Especially a corner store. It's a Mercado too, lots of speciality items. Guy also didn't hear me say i have a bag and was about to charge me a quarter, also didn't know the price of a bread and had to ask someone. Not the best but not the worst, good to grab some quick produce on your way somewhere

I've shopped at this location for many many years. I bought some chicharrons 2 weeks ago and they were HORRIBLE!!I took them back and they said that nothing was wrong with them.Don't spend your money on them...they are no good.

Great store if you've been on the hunt for a marketa in the city. They have everything I've been looking for to make Mexican food. Only downside is the parking situation but its just the typical SF parking experience, there's a few bus stops near by. Carnicería in the back and they have prepared masa available. I called ahead to ask if they had something I needed in stock, and they were friendly and answered all my questions. Primarily spoke Spanish so figure that out if you don't speak the language.

If you don't speak Spanish, don't come here. I do speak Spanish, but they're still rude. The girl working the front register is not customer service oriented. The tamales on the counter are accessible to clients, yet when I tried to grab a couple to add to my basket, she told me not to touch them. Then, when I asked to buy tamales, she said she was charging me for them whether I wanted them or not since I touched them.If we're not supposed to touch the tamales on the counter, then that should be written. Don't make up rules and tell me you're charging me for something whether I want it or not.

This place has good deals on produce compared to places like Safeway. I watch for deals.
