I have to stop here literally every time I visit SF. And I drag unwitting friends, too, to change their life. Please reopen soon. Need draft delirium tremens. And some frites with mayo!
Great food and beer selection, friendly service
This place is INCREDIBLE. Fantastic service and a truly amazing beer list.
Menu has changed a bit, but still a great place for muscles and beer
The mussels are simply to die for. As good as any in Belgium! The beer selection is out of this world, both for drafts (which rotate often), and dozens of bottle selections. Great atmosphere, great food, great prices, what more could you ask for! Get here and have moules frite with a proper Belgian draft.
Thank you Larry, a consummate host and proprietor. Excellent food and drink. Authentic. Great environment. See you again, and we’ll bring friends.
Absolutely delightful staff, great beer selections and delicious authentic Belgian food. Highly recommend.
Great beer selection, and I usually love coming here. Unfortunately my last visit, the server, Lisa, left me feeling like the place was doing me a favor. My friends and I only ordered one beer, and we each paid individually, and we definitely were given clear feelings about how this was appreciated. We just wanted a casual drink. The servers made us feel this wasn’t acceptable
I have been here 3-4 times in the past 4 years and have always looked forward to the visit; however our recent experience made us feel quite uncomfortable.
Bad service! the staff made us feel like we were a burden

Extensive beer selection, knowledgable staff, great service
Amazing brunch menu and an extensive beer library. American and Belgian style food with a brunch twist every Sunday! I had the eggs benedict which came on a small Belgian waffle, topped with beer braised stewed beef! It was the perfect amount, and surprisingly not as heavy as it sounds. Larry, the executive chef there, was fun to talk with about the menu as well. Spectacular new brunch spot overall!
Great place , great service, incredible beer selection!
Really large selection of beers. Real Belgian food. Mussels the way they serve them in Ostend! Good service. Friendly staff & owner. Recommend for food & beer.
As a Belgian, I approve of this place. Setting downstairs is much like how it is in a bar 'café' in Belgium. They didn't have the first couple of beers I tried getting on the list but the ones they had were great and reasonably priced. Would recommend for anyone trying to discover some new beers.
