I did a Build Your Own Salad(half size), which includes one type of greens, 4 toppings(like pickled onions, peppers, cucumber , etc) and 1-2 dressings. The chicken is very basic and bland, no taste, no flavors, no seasoning, and is still for $3.5 additional cost. The bowl came up to $13.5, which is not worth it, considering the quantity as well as the taste.

Dishonestly lists it's menu prices by adding a restaurant set fee to the price.
I live near this restaurant and thus find it painful to remove from my eating-out rotation. However their approach towards their customers and towards honesty & ethics forces me to never return.
The addition of 4% fee (which is not a tax and not required by the city) serves to demonstrate their approach towards truthfulness & transparency.
Due to their dishonesty 1 star and I shall not return. If they wanted to be honest and transparent they'd advertise their true price on the menu (and optionally include information about healthcare on the receipt).

Sandwich and soup clearly stale. Not prepared the same day at all

Really bad food. Everything was lacking flavor, missing the most basic salt and pepper. The egg salad sandwich was so dry and had no flavor. The chicken noodle soup was barely edible.

Fresh and great. I was a little lost and called the location and the lady on the phone was the nicest ever took her time and explained how to get there after I parked once I got there. I was very happy. She was very nice and the food was great and extremely fresh like it was just picked, and the bread is fantastic there as well. Highly recommend.

A place where you can avoid the rain on a rainy day but soak bread in warm soup while listening to the sound of rain. I starved for 14 hours and ate two by myself. The chicken chowder soup and tomato basil bisque were both excellent. I wish it was there in Korea too.

While visiting the offices at One California building in San Francisco, I stopped off to grab a sandwich at Ladle & Leaf. The cafe offers both sandwiches and soups. The cafe has no indoor seating but offers exterior seating. The cafe also has salads, beverages, and half order of sandwiches. The Embarcadero Ferry Building is conveniently located.
Got a few wilty leaves in my salad bowl. Perhaps the place should be called “ladle & wilty leaf” instead
My favorite grab-n-go lunch spot in downtown San Francisco. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious!

For a quick meal and your headed to Union Square, give this place a try. Fresh, tasty food (Thai-peanut salad was my pick) and corn chowder great choices.
Polo kale bowl is a must. Fast service and super healthy
Rude management lady last week
