The ratio of noise level and price to food quality was too high, as it is for many restaurants in SOMA. I would give 5 stars for food except that vegetarian options were too limited and seemed to be an afterthought.

This was my second experience at Lao table and they did not disappoint. I remembered how much I enjoyed my first visit and they certainly delivered. The Thai tea is my favorite and they give you such a hearty glass I love it and am still thinking about it. We had the chicken tom yum, it was absolutely delish and spicy very tasty. We also ordered the Kobe steak and also chicken fried rice. (The steak came with sticky rice also.) The steak was omg wow I am definitely coming back...
