We went in for lunch and were really looking forward to finding out what Laotian cuisine was but ended up being mildly disappointed. We ordered a shareable platter, lamb curry, crispy tilapia and veggie spring rolls. The Tilapia was very bland and the sauce didn't pack enough of a punch to make up for it. The ratio of noise level and price to food quality was too high, as it is for many restaurants in SOMA. I would give 5 stars for food except that vegetarian options were too limited and seemed to be an afterthought.

Such a wide variety of items in here - and everything is finger licking good. I absolutely had a feast here. I got Chicken Friend rice and it was good - not the best but above average.
