My wife and I had the best experience at L'Ardoise. Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was perfect. If you love traditional French cuisine then this is the best spot in San Francisco.
Welcoming staff, good service, they seemed happy to be there and see us as their guests. The dining room staff were a team, they helped each other so that the service was seamless. It was my first visit, I was impressed and certainly go back.
Can't say enough about this cozy bistro in a friendly San Francisco neighborhood. Everything from service to the food is absolutely first rate. It's elegant, but casual at the same time a true treasure.
