Lovely place. Delicious food and great, interesting cocktails in a warm, inviting environment. We had a very nice brunch and I can't wait to come back. Finally got to try Shakshuka (which I saw on the Real Housewives of NY, haha). It was very tasty! ?

tl;dr - delicious food, friendly helpful service, excellent ambiance, and a great value. 100% go. My two girlfriends and I wanted a girls dinner at a restaurant we've all never been to, stumbled up on Lark on opentable and booked a 6:30 reservation on Saturday night - this was the perfect spot. We got 3 apps, 3 drinks, 3 entrees, 3 desserts and hot tea and and spent $240 (including tip). We left full and brought leftovers home so the portions are perfect. The music was great, the servers are nice and the little dining room is cozy and vibey. I had the salmon with beans and it was i n c r e d i b l e. Will definitely be going back.

Recently had dinner here with my best friend and WOW! Service was great, beautiful ambiance and very welcoming! We ordered the truffle french fries, boureki for appetizers. Then we got the kotopoulo brochettes and lamb shank for our entrees. Everything was delicious! Would definitely come back and recommend this place to other people!

Odd waitress, but maybe I just got unlucky? I ordered for our party of two a mixed mezze as an entree, and two main courses. I clearly stated the names of the dishes, pointing at the items at the menu, so no room for misunderstandings there. I was asked whether we wanted the mezze and main courses at the same time, which was already a bit weird, but OK. I said no, and the entree came, and after that one of the main courses. We waited a bit for the second dish to arrive, but after a few minutes, the waitress from whom we had ordered came and asked whether we wanted a to-go box. I was a bit shocked, and said that no, we were waiting for the salmon we ordered. The lady coldly replied "Oh no, I don't think you ordered the Salmon, sir". No apologies, nothing, she was just completely certain the error must be on my side. We ordered an additional mezze instead, because the other main course was already half cold, and shared both dishes. As soon as I had the last bite in my mouth, before I could even swallow it, the bill was placed on a rubber mat on the table. I paid, after which for some odd reason the empty water bottle was replaced. I assumed someone was waiting for our table, and we were just being "processed" as fast as possible, but there was no one waiting, so I'm at a loss whether the waitress was exceptionally rude (but then again, she seemed outwardly friendly with us and the other guests) or just completely incompetent. The quality of the food was fine, and the vibe of the place is really good, though. A shame, really.

Fantastic Sunday brunch. Was able snag the small area outside for a party of four. Service was swift and food was excellent. A very filling meal for a reasonable price.Dishes were delicious. Maybe the burgers/sliders could use a tad more salt/seasoning but they are indeed juicy and never dry in my experience.Get any type of potatoes and they’ll be prepared to perfection. And the desert/treat dishes were a nice finish. Kunefe with some salted caramel gelato is a wonderful combo.

The 4 of us started with pikilia, a nice sampling of the mezethes, which were delicious. It would have been easier if we hadn't had to cut most items in half so that each of us could have a sample of each item. (Perhaps the plate could be sized and ordered "for 2, for 3, for 4," etc.) The beyti was beautiful and tasted wonderful. Also fabulous were the kotopoulo brochettes, souzoukaklia, and sultani. We had room to share the chocolate dome and the salted caramel gelato. We loved the food, and our server was delightful. Although the place is small, there was only one bartender and one server that Monday night; we had to request attention from time to time. The door also tended to remain open, which allowed cold air, cigarette smoke, and truck exhaust to infiltrate. We did shut the door several times, but next time we'll ask to be seated in the back. We'll definitely return - often!

Got sick off their food??????

Small, dimly lit, intimate cocktail bar lounge in the Castro. Musakka was very tasty and pleasant. The mixed grill (miktos souvlakia) was perfect to sample all of the different meat skewers they offer. The arnaki brochettes (lamb) was the favorite. The others (chicken ground beef and lamb) were quite fine.

The food at Lark is great and our service was amazing. Our server took the time to recommend dishes and the ambiance inside is perfect and cozy for dinner time!

A fun, moody little small bites bar that served as the perfect jumping off point to our night out. We ordered a ton of apps/Mezze-- the usual suspects, and enjoyed some mezcal. The hummus was simple, but delicious, and a server named Ferris was really kind to us. Definitely a place to check out.

Our table was still occupied by the previous party who did not want to leave (now I know why!). The team made us comfortable at the bar and gave us a toast of bubbles while we waited. It turned out being well worth the wait, what a delicious beautiful meal at such a great value! Can't wait to come back.

Food was good. Service was off. Took them forever to get drinks and while we were waiting for our last drinks, (which we ordered before entrees arrived, but were still waiting for after the entrees were finished), they asked if we could moved to a smaller table. Weird service to say the least.

A friendly, reasonably-priced neighborhood restaurant with nicely prepared Greek/Mediterranean food. Service was attentive and responsive. Portions are generous without being too large/wasteful. The shishito peppers and various skewers are standouts (we especially liked the pairing of the skewers with chickpeas). cocktails and wines are reasonably priced as well (there are some solid by-the-glass options on the wine list). Our first time here, and we strongly anticipate returning.
