I got a carne asada burrito and it was no bueno.
The first thing I noticed was a very sour taste… like they squeezed a lemon or a lime into it or something. Personally, I find that to be a terrible flavor. It might have come from the guacamole? Like when you buy low quality guacamole that’s very very sour and has almost no avocado flavor (which this also did not). The flavor was so sour it took over the whole burrito.
Second, it was very greasy… like a little puddle of oil and grease sitting in the aluminum as I was eating, which is honestly just disgusting. I was starving, so I ate it, but now I feel like throwing up.
Those are the main issues. Imagine eating a grease saturated, super sour burrito, that’s what this was. In addition, less impactful, but bad burrito etiquette, they put shredded iceberg lettuce in a hot burrito? Huh? Iceberg lettuce does not belong in a hot burrito. The pico de gallo salsa in the burrito also did not have a good flavor and tasted sour.
And all that for the fantastic bargain of $21!!! Nope, never again

this place is amazing- went on a Sunday and the chef was super accommodating of my annoying dietary restrictions I have temporarily. he made me a carne asada/ egg/ fajita vegetable scramble and it was huge and really hit the spot. since I’ve been forced to cook 99% of my meals this small gesture made a huge difference and he was very kind and patient with my questions around what they use to cook. yes… I’m currently that girl.
it was also huge for the price and lasted me three breakfasts! will definitely be a repeat customer

Tonight we tried 3 tacos and the relleno negro—So flavorful and very generous portion! The tortillas are perfect. Family friendly and they have a tv to watch the baseball game :)

Excellent Al pastor tacos, and we had the most amazing Relleno Negro (chicken in chile de arbol broth). House made tortillas were so good and chewy. Can’t wait to come back. Be patient, they’re making your food to order!!! Lovely place!
