Tea was fine but the hotel did a poor job of providing info about the theme, which was described in the website and Open Table. I could not get a live person in the phone, the digital assistant did not work, and eventually someone answered who was not familiar in detail but told me there was no real theme. There was a theme but the hotel missed the boat and follow through. Similarly a Halloween theme starts in October but the staff were not well versed. Missed opportunity.
3 star experience. The place is beautiful but hasn't been kept up. One a five star experience but seems to me to be coasting on past reputation. Food was good but everything had went downhill overall from what it once was.
Beautiful hotel and restaurant! The Butternut squash and roasted pear soup was brilliant. I had a non alcoholic Bloody Mary and loved it. Great service.
