There was only one meal out of the six ordered that was worth eating and that was the chicken and steak kabob. The stews were terrible as was the bland salad. The teas had no flavor. The service wasn’t good either. First they brought out the wrong meals and then served the correct meals at different times. It was a long wait for bad food.

Lavash is one of my new favorite restaurants in San Francisco. The owners greeted us warmly at the door, the service was professional and friendly and the food was beautifully presented and delicious! This restaurant is very special and highly recommended.

I ordered Kubideh and Bakhtiari (Barg and Jujeh).
The Kubideh was dry and very bland, far below what you’d expect from a Persian restaurant. The Jujeh kabab was the real problem: it was completely raw inside, as if it had been on the grill for only a few seconds. We couldn’t even eat a single piece and had to throw the entire Jujeh away. Serving raw chicken is unacceptable and unsafe. This was a very disappointing experience overall.
Great Persian food, friendly service, lots op options on the menu

It is rude to refuse a woman who needs bathroom anywhere in the world. We use to come to this place for dinner but never again after this attitude
It’s by far one of our favorite restaurants in the city and in California! Family owned, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff delivering amazing Persian food. We have been to many restaurants and have experienced really great Persian cruises and I have to stay Lavash is on the top of our list, even internationally! Highly recommend!

A great Persian cuisine. Portions are adequate, but good quality kabobs. Highly recommend it.

Doesn’t feel like authentic Persian place since the crew are all non-Persian and even the design has nothing to do with Persian tradition but a painting of Manghal with Kabab’s grilled on top of it.
Barg was really good if you add a bit of salt (8.5/10)
Koobideh was 7/10 since the proportion of beef was more than it should’ve been.

Food is mediocre and not halal. There are some better Middle Eastern restaurants in the same area. Service also not good, waiters not attentive.
