Oh wow! This was worth the trip to the mission despite the chaos of an unexpected parade! We loved the buckwheat brownie with bitter cocoa nibs and the cornmeal raspberry scone.

In carousing with my buddies after lunch, I was introduced to a hoity-toity bakery and I just loved their decadence in flavor and style.
In these pictures, the first one is what I had, their version of brownies. One of my buddies picked up a focaccia, the second shot, which looked so tempting, with the texture looking so divine.
The rest are the shop's clean, sharp and minimalist interior and exterior presentation. It was a great introduction to this place, Le Dix-Sept Patisserie.
For years now, there has been quite a boutique culinary movement in the city in producing some of the best artisan bread and pastries, and I have no complaints about that. I certainly had no complaints about the brownies I devoured.

It has been a few years since a new pastry shop has really impressed me. We are in a city that has spoiled us.
Yet le dix-sept elevated the experience to a different level. The cannele was the perfect texture, the best l've had. The merengue was impossibly airy and light. The bread pudding had a great flavor.
They also had a few gluten free items that my partner really loved.

A lovely spot in Mission! The location might fool but this cafe is honestly one of my favorites in the city so far!
The lady was the absolute sweetest and I love the vision of not charging extra for oatmilk! Makes it way easier to enjoy vegan goods. A wonderful atmosphere and the coffee was really good too!

Cute little spot in the mission. The passionfruit ginger fizz drink was amazing! I also really enjoy their focaccia bread too. But it’s kinda pricey if I’m being honest. That shouldn’t stop you from checking this adorable place out though.

Le Dix-Sept will delight all your senses. It’s a must visit for any pastry loving foodie in SF. From the charming pink window front and plant oasis sidewalk seating, to the mouthwatering inventive botanical selection of pastries and drinks, to the current French playlist beats - Le Dix Sept is the pastry shop vibe SF needs. Everything pastry chef Michelle Hernandez concocts is delicious. Best cannelé in SF by far. And don’t miss out on her cloud like fluffy focaccia. Michelle is an artist with flavor and presentation - a testament to her training in Paris. She’s also amazing at bringing themed desserts to life for custom parties and events. No matter the theme, Le Dix Sept delivers pastry greatness. I can’t recommend this place more highly.

Cute baked goods spot in mission. Limited options and prices are high. $6 for a buckwheat brownie which was really interesting - almost savory? And very rich. I enjoyed it but I’m sure it’s not everyone cup of tea!
Cute patisserie shop with coffee selections.

Honestly some of the best desserts in the city! The cheddar & pepperoncini scone is to die for. Also snag a focaccia when they’re available/not sold out. And they only do oat milk for their coffees!! A++

I love this bakery. The vibe and aesthetic is so beautiful. The passionfruit fizz drink is something I dream about, as well as this candied hibiscus cookie... OMG! I also love to follow them on instagram and just drool over the gorgeous cakes.

Indeed, the cannelés are perfect. Crispy caramel on the outside, creamy and rum on the inside.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to stay on the small terrace (the pedestrians in the surrounding area ruin your appetite). Take away, clearly and often.

I didn't know I could love a brownie so much! The buckwheat brownies are my favorite. When I want something savory the potato galette is my go to. Love this place!

Whenever I am in the city I go out of my way to stop at Le Dix Sept. My two favorite items are the Luna or passion fruit almond tart, Im a sucker for anything passion fruit. They always have special items for each season or holiday. I also love the hot chocolate con pasilla, I can’t drink coffee so it’s the perfect hot drink for my goodies, holy smokes is it good!
