But especially at $15 for a breakfast sandwich, the flavors need some brightness to balance them out, at least for the standard 'breakfast sandwich' option. - Mayo - Arugula - maybe some tomato or onion? - Other hot sauce (maybe a bit of a condiment bar?!) I am nearby so I walk a few blocks home to add the missing ingredients and bring the whole thing together but it would be great if I didn't need to.

I had a mushroom breakfast sandwich with an egg added, and it was delicious! Definitely will come back.
I’m usually whatever about cinnamon rolls, but the ones at Leadbetter’s are pretttttttty damn good. The blueberry banana bread is also perfect — dense, not too sweet, and still moist the next day.
Very happy to finally have a solid pastry shop in the Castro!

I’ve stopped by a couple times and felt compelled to leave a review after my most recent visit. I had the Smoked Salmon sandwich (everything English muffin, cream cheese, smoked salmon, pickled red onion capers and some seasonings): it was the best smoked salmon sandwich I’ve had, bagel or otherwise. It was just incredible. I cannot recommend it enough.
My wife and I also love their cinnamon raisin English muffin with the homemade jam, the raspberry jam is just wonderful.
Overall: they have top notch English muffins and great baking here, and now I’ve learned can put together the best Smoked Salmon sandwich. Highly recommend for a casual breakfast/brunch!
