Stopped in for lunch while strolling along Polk. Trying to decide among the plethora of international cuisines lining the thoroughfare. Their sandwich board promoting the $18.95 lunch special got my attention. I had the green curry chicken with coconut shrimp and a Singha beer. Quite tasty and filling, although not spicy by Thai standards. Easily remedied with a little hot sauce.
Portions were very generous, flavors were there, and the lady that served us was really sweet. She made some nice recommendations and was attentive. The special lemongrass savory was really good and came with rice. I honestly don’t understand the other negative reviews. My gf and I had a good time for a random lunch in the city <3
We took the Muni bus back from the Presidio and found this delightful Thai restaurant on Google maps. The crispy tofu is the best we've had and the peanut sauce was delicious and perfectly balanced. Also pictured is the appetizer combo with sauce sampler. Everything was made with care and great attention to detail.
