Linea Coffee Roasting + Caffe

I come here occasionally on weekday mornings and this place has great coffee – one of my favorites in the city! unfortunately the staff is consistently a bit rude, except for one or two specific people who are lovely...

Very friendly staffs, my little Shihtzu loves their doggy donuts. We go every day. Although I travel a lot and tried lots of coffee, Linea has my favorite latte in the world.

My latte was amazing

This place is super cute vibes and you can see them roasting the beans in the back which is cool. However, the latte was very mid and the matcha was undrinkable. It was so clumpy and powdery and just tasted like milk.

Coffee is fantastic as usual! My favorite place for coffee in the city for quality alone. For car drivers plenty of parking here compared to their mission location

After placing my 50 dollar order for 5 drinks, I didn’t add a tip to my order. Whilst making the drinks, the employee who took my order loudly exclaimed “An order with like 20 drinks and no tip!” Sorry, I’ll only tip at a coffee shop if I have an exceptional experience or am being waited on. Maybe they should bring up the issue with their employer if they feel as though they’re not being paid enough? A disappointing experience, but great coffee.

Coffee and pastries just so-so. Also very expensive. No seating inside, but there is plenty of room, at the very least for a bar facing the windows.

The service was exceptional at Linea Coffee Rosting! My Americano was quickly delivered, and it tasted delicious! They had a couple of vegan options for dairy substitutes, which made it nice for a future visit. I observed the owner cleaning the outside of the building, even though they were closing on a weekend. That speaks of pride in the establishment. Best part, they had a big water bowl out for dogs. If I had to improve something, it would be table space outside. There are a couple of isolated benches and only one space allows for folks to sit across each other. Honestly, I didn't pay attention to the seating inside. Overall, great place and excellent service!

I usually love going to Linea because the coffee is consistently excellent. Unfortunately, today I had my first negative experience that left me disappointed. I arrived about 10 minutes before closing and was met with an unwelcoming attitude from one of the staff, which already made the visit feel uncomfortable. When I ordered my espresso drink, I politely asked if it could be served in a glass (as it tends to taste better that way), but my request was denied. The result? A $6.82 coffee that tasted like paper — far from the experience I’ve come to expect from Linea.

I understand closing time can be stressful, but a small gesture of hospitality would’ve gone a long way. I’m sharing this in the hope that future visits reflect the high standard Linea is known for.

Just didn’t like it. Think they don’t have their machine dialed in and for 5.5 an espresso it’s needs to be perfect. The coffee flavour just didn’t jump from the beans and the tartness came from a poor configured extraction

This place is very uninviting. A huge space, but no seating or toilets. The coffee was good and the staff was cool, but this place is the most expensive coffee shop even among single origin roasted on site types. AND there are incomprehensible fees on top of that.

I wouldn’t come again because of the hospitality problems.
