Cute, unassuming little coffee shop located in a quieter area of SF. We were able to find parking easily on a Sunday afternoon, which was nice since that's usually an issue in the city. We ordered an iced oat milk cortado. The espresso was a bit acidic for our liking and there wasn't much complexity to it. They offer a wide range of beans but none of the packaging listed tasting notes for each bean. We probably won't be back since it's out of the way for us, but it's a decent option if you need a caffeine fix and don't want to worry about parking in SF.

This is a great spot to visit for good coffee, good pastries, and good service. I never got around to asking what beans are used for their cold brew, but it's likely a light/medium roast. They do fill the cup with quite a bit of ice so be sure to ask for light ice if you don't wanted your cold brew watered down! The shrub soda is an drink that I've never seen anywhere other than Linea, but it's basically a fancy (and probably healthier) version of Italian soda (without cream ofc). The flavors in the menu don't always reflect what is in stock, but the baristas have always given me a run down of what they have at that time. The shrub soda is a refreshing carbonated drink and most of the flavors are fruits like citrus and apricot. There is also some component of a vinegar(?) in the drink, so it does need to be well mixed prior to enjoying. This is also a good location to get pastries from neighbor bakehouse if you don't want to wake up at 7AM. They carry a few items from the bakery, including the popularly everything croissant. They also dynamo donuts, thought I haven't had the chance to try them yet. Overall, I've always had a great experience with the coffee, people, and food here. Despite the occasional line, the service is quick and friendly, so I wouldn't even consider the brief wait an inconvenience.

Drove here for lunch and coffee from another side of town. Needed to use the restroom. Was told there's no restroom for customers nor any recommended place to go nearby. Left. Didn't get any lunch or coffee. Not chill.

Came here to try a new neighborhood coffee shop. It was a cute shop with a parklet outside for seating, and the baristas were nice! Ordered the oat milk latte and was really let down. The drink was nice and thick, but it tasted like just a steamed milk. The coffee really lacked strength and flavor.

What do you do when you want pastries by Neighborhood Bakeshop is closed? Go to Linea Caffe, which sources their pastries from there! They have an everything croissant which is the perfect savory breakfast item to pair with coffee or any of their drinks. I ordered the matcha latte, which was nicely creamy but didn't have as strong of a matcha flavor as compared to what you'd get from a boba shop or Matcha Cafe Maiko, but the quality of the matcha was decent. A friend of mine tried their vinegar drink, one of their landmark drinks, but it... requires an acquired taste to fully appreciate it. Unfortunately they don't have any indoor seating, only a small parklet outside with benches. However, the line goes out the store on some weekends.

I walked over in a Saturday morning to grab pastries and coffee. I've seen such great reviews and it's walking distance. I thought that there would be a line at 9am since Bay Area people wake up quite early. But no line! It was also a foggy, cold day. I got their iced oat milk latte. Very smooth and I could still taste the coffee. I bought some pastries to-go as well. They're from neighbor bakehouse, my favorite bakery in SF! Minus a star because it's a little expensive for the small cup of coffee. 2 lattes and three pastries for $35.

How did Linea blow up in the last few years? I used to live by the original location in the Mission and it was fantastic but I could rely on never having to wait, ever. At this Potrero location, there was a long line along the outside of the building. It ended up being a 20-30m wait. * Iced matcha latte - 4 stars Thick texture, not too sweet. Perfect for a warm weekend day in SF!

My partner got a drip (ethiopian) and I got an oat latte. When going to a top-shelf coffee roastery like linea, I'd recommend getting a drip coffee. This helps you to really appreciate the fine-tuning of grind size + brew time that the baristas must have put into this coffee to distinguish its unique flavor notes! They also had a great potato puff pastry. While I really loved sitting outdoors in their little parklet this morning, I hope they open up some indoor seating someday soon!

I got an iced oat milk latte with simple syrup and it tasted heavenly. Maybe it was a combination of me feeling dehydrated and/or thinking this drink tasted amazing because I finished the entire thing within a block of the cafe. It was super good, and I highly recommend this drink order. Maybe it was also a combination of the caffeine in this drink being really effective and/or the fact that I didn't eat anything else that morning because I ended up on a caffeine-induced energy rollercoaster for upwards of four hours after visiting Linea. TLDR: get your coffee here if you're looking to REALLY wake up. I also got a bag of coffee beans, which got me ~$4 off my latte. What a great deal! :)

One of my favorite coffee shops in SF! They have the best lattes I've tasted. The espresso doesn't get lost in the milk. Definitely recommend Iced Latte with Oatmilk! They also sell whole coffee beans and pastries. Chocolate croissants are always a great choice! They have 2 locations in SF - Mariposa and the other on 18th Street between Mission Valencia. This location in Mariposa is better because of the parking. Usually a line in both locations but it moves relatively quickly and the staff are always nice. They typically serve each customer completely before starting with the next customer. There are outdoor seating in the Mariposa location which is nice because it's on a relatively quiet block and typically sunny in this part of the city. Lattes here never disappoints!

Summary: Solid (non-sour!) coffee drinks Details: * Linea's probably our second favorite coffee shop in the city, after Telescope, both as cafes that serve up coffee that isn't overwhelmingly sour/fruity/acidic like many of the other cafes here tend towards * While we enjoyed the actual coffee flavors, we found their cortados a bit too strong, and the lattes a bit too light (with the milk flavor somewhat overwhelming the coffee notes), though their cappuccinos on a second visit were a nice balance * You get a discount for bringing your own mug, and a buying a bag of coffee gets you a free drip (or discounted non-drip) coffee! Accessibility: Located on a bit of a slope, you may find it a little difficult to get here if you need to wheel to the cafe, but the inside is super spacious so you shouldn't have any issues ordering and grabbing your drink once here. Their outdoor seating, however, is not accessible, so know that you'll probably have to grab and go!

A hidden gem! And I'm so lucky that I stayed so close to this coffee shop while I was visiting this part of town. Great coffee and there's always a line-- but it goes by fast! Their pastries are also fresh and delicious from a nearby bakery!

Decided to give this coffee shop a try while hanging out in the Dogpatch area of SF. There was a short line when we walked up but ordering was quick. Decided on a matcha tea latte w/ oat milk and an express coffee. Pretty standard taste wise. The back part of the building appeared to be still under construction but there was ample seating outside. The location is near the 280 freeway and I'm sure is convenient for anyone living in the loft buildings just around the corner.

Usually when there is a long line outside in the cold, it means the place is worth it. When I got up to the front of the line and ordered. It was definitely worth it. I ordered a green tea latte with almond milk and a few donuts a from nearby bakery. My partner ordered an americano. He loved the flavors of the espresso. They have different espresso drinks, oat and almond milk and a variety of baked goods vegan and not vegan. I loved the apple donut with cinnamon sugar on the outside of the donut. I wish it had more apple flavor though. It slightly felt like I was eating apple pie in a donut. My partner got the peanut butter and banana which he enjoyed as well. We shared the glazed chocolate donut and it was good. They sell bags of coffee/espresso to go. The staff is very nice. They have street parking around the area but it can get busy and hard to find parking. They also have a small area to sit and drink your coffee with other people. When I'm in the area I would definitely go back.
