Have been here 50+ times for a reason. They’re always rotating taps and have THE BEST selection for whatever type of beer you are looking for. I personally like barrel aged stouts, barleywines, Belgian triples, and sour/smoothie beers and liquid gold never disappoints. Even the can and bottle fridge is well stocked. Chill environment and bartenders - none of that pretentious bs.

I’ve only drank in a couple of times but it’s plenty of fun. Good selection on tap and a fantastic selection in the fridges for takeaway. The staff are friendly, the vibes are positive and the music isn’t too bad either. Would highly recommend

Staff are lovely and friendly. Great atmosphere. Probably had the best beers in my life from here. They have a huge selection of beers and other drinks on draft and bottle/cans that you can drink in there with a corkage fee or take out. The majority from local breweries but also from some far away like the alchemist and others.

I love stopping by Liquid Gold. They always have a huge selection of great beer so I'm usually finding something delicious. Plus a huge selection of beers in the fridge to take home. I almost always grab a few to take home because of their collection of sours, ales and even some great NA ones.
Plus they are super dog friendly with treats so its always nice to pop by after work, or make a nice long walk out of it!

Some great experiences had here over the years. Not only do they serve great beer with an abundance of options, but the bartenders are good company and it attracts tourists from around the world. My most memorable night here is chatting with a man from the Netherlands. We shared beers and connected through Untapped. Connecting through the love of beer. Who would’ve thought? Having such a selection allowed me to share a beer from one of my favorite breweries with my newfound friend (Ale Apothecary). Every time I am in San Francisco I stop by and have a beer or two. Thank you to the owner for such a fantastic selection of bottled/canned beers from around the U.S and the world.
