San Francisco offers too many sandwich shops so this was a nice stumble. The plantains were fantastic. And I’m a big sucker for rice. Good rice. Will come back next time I visit

I have been coming here for about 8 years. Their food is always good and eat here at least a couple times a month. However, the chips are a gamble every time. It’s always been like that. Sometimes they forget to salt them, while other times they are a completely different tasting chip. Recently the chips have been stale and don’t know how they could get more inconsistent. I’d rather buy my own chips just to be safe.

Food was Delicious. Staff was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Food was all fresh. I absolutely recommend them! We will be back.
Killer spot, it doesn't hit the same as the taquerias Im used to, but you also dont feel like crap afterward.

Barely any meat or cheese in our orders (burritos and a chicken quesadilla). Just a bunch of rice and beans. Not much flavor either. The ambiance is nice - that’s about all it has going for it.

I agree with other reviewers that it's WAY too expensive for what it is -- pretty good Mexican food, but the bar is higher here in California!! $14 for a burrito plus tax and tip, pay extra for chips? Please... Also, they got my order wrong!
Okay - revising my review - just paid
D $18.50 for one burrito, no chips anymore. Absolute rip off.
So thankful for the delicious vegan options! If they add vegan cheese to the menu I'll be there *all* the time!
We‘re big fans of the plantain burrito (especially the vegan version). Excellent guac here, too.
Vegetarian options: I wish Google would explicitly ask for vegan food in this category, too. At Little Chihuahua you can veganize a lot of the dishes.

I like the little Chihuahua. They’re a little more expensive than some of the other burrito places, but they always have good quality ingredients and service.
I had to deduct two stars because they continue to charge junk fees instead of including their business costs in the regular menu price. This is deceptive business practice, and not customer-friendly, regardless of whether it’s in small print somewhere on some of their menus (though not all). When businesses aren’t upfront with their customers, I believe we should hold them accountable for that. I truly hope they do better in the future.
