Little Wok Cafe is currently closed for renovations & while they are, I’d like to say they have the best egg rolls I’ve ever had in my life & I hope their renovation goes well in the meantime :)

The absolute best Chinese in all Northern California, probably the entire US. The food was perfect, the service was excellent, and atmosphere was peaceful. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon with my family. Large portions, very affordable, extremely clean.

Great food, service and large portions at an affordable price (can you believe it? In 2023!?). Seriously could have fed a family of 4 with the chow mein I ordered.
The service here is great, and the food is comforting. The hot and sour soup was sharp, and tangy. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, each bite was satisfying. The chow mein lacked salt, but it had its own dressing. The wall mural here is bright and interesting.

We ordered the house special chow mein and the broccoli beef. The chow mein is delicious. You can tell that the technique is excellent as there is no oil left at the bottom and each component is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The broccoli beef is also good, with nicely seasoned and tender meat. This is excellent Cantonese food. The service was good and the restaurant was pretty and clean.

Terribly bland food. Got the corn and egg rice noodle roll, and the veg chowmein. Both had no flavor of their own and generous amounts of soy sauce, chilli oil didn't fix it either. Good portion size though
Super good!!???
In two years the prices went up OUTRAGEOUSLY!!! Look at the pictures of the menu they have vs current prices. $10.99 for their house fried rice vs $16.99!!?! I would understand prices going up $1/year but that's just ridiculous. The food is tasty and well-prepared but you can get equally good/better Chinese at Hunan Cafe #2 a few blocks away for FAR more reasonable prices.Edit: the owners responded. Ok, how much does your house fried rice cost now if you eat in/take-out?
Ordered :Kung Pao Chicken : 5/5Veg Chow fun : 5/5Will order again : 5/5 . Definitely, this is our favorite Chinese food place in SF.This place is awesome, the management has changed a couple of times, but I think they have kept the same chef cause the food is always awesome whenever we visit SF.Good flavor, good quantity, good price and a nice homey feel and touch in the food when you are eating here, what more can you ask. Too bad we don't live in SF otherwise this would be our go to place on a monthly basis.
