Terrible. Made a reservation for 9pm, site says they close at 9:30pm. We walked 5 blocks then to walk in at 9:01pm to be told by a staff member that they are closed and already putting seats up while there was one table still dining with them. I told them we made a reservation and they proceeded to say they were closed. So irritating.

Excellent spot. Super fresh rolls, love the selection of sake by the glass or the 3-cup tasting special. Crab Napoleon was like a mini sushi birthday cake! Will be back.

The sashimi here is the best I've ever had, and the rolls are perfectly sized. I love the pottery they use for their plates and bowls. It's just a little classier than most sushi restaurants and I'm here for it.

First timers today with the GF. We were the first to get in the door (they opened at 5) and to our surprise they were empty with just us until 5:30. Which was shocking as they have awesome fresh food and their happy hour is incredibly frugal for SF standards.
I can’t wait to come back and try more of their wide ranging menu. We simply didn’t have the capacity to order more food. If you’ve never been here, come for the happy hour and immerse yourself. Will be back soon!

Took my cousin here in 2013 & Cane back in 2021. Both times the food was amazing and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. We were treated so warmly and so kindly by all the staff and the chef even did us a little special. This place rules and holds a warm place in my heart.
Very good sushi, best eaten in the restaurant, but survived my drive home well. I will definitely be back
